Alan Moore vs Grant Morrison

1. Composite Moore character vs Composite Morrison. Both get a week of prep.

2. The real Alan Moore and Grant Morrison fight eachother on the surface of the Sun while wearing Sunproof force fields.

Alan Moore in the second. He's a Classic Strange level sorcerer.

Alan Moore will mop the floor with morrison no matter how you look at it.

Hell, Moore can just let his beard kick Morrison's ass while he sits back and watches from the sidelines.

At the moment Morrison is putting out better stuff than Moore is IMO. Moore's last good thing was LOEG Black Dossier. And even that wasn't nearly as good as the original LOEG.

At this point Moore doesn't even need to put anything else out there, his history speaks for itself. Who cares if he's burnt out? Bob Dylan hasn't done shit worth remarking in years, he's still Dylan though and that's the way Moore is. He gest to rest on his laurels and rock harder than everybody else in his weight class. Moore is a practicing Chaos Mage whereas Morrison's most impressive magic comes in the form of a "didactic literary hypersigils", and that only managed to cause one of his lungs to collapse. Moore is also has an advantage in strength, weight and reach if it comes down to a brawl.

Is this a fight or a comparison of their writing talents?

For writing: Moore.

Morrisson is the man, but he hasn't got one thing that matches up to Watchmen. Much less his other great work.

For a fight: Moore is a magician, so I'm pretty sure he has real powers.

They're both pretty awesome but Moore's own masterpieces top them easily. V and Wacthmen, come on... As for pretentious and self-important, I disagree, they are every bit as good as their hype would have you belive.

Haha they are both pretty neurotic hermits. Dylan once told a reporter he had never heard his son's band but was pretty sure it was garbage. Virgin once threw a massive birthday party for him, people killed each other over invitations and for better or worse everybody in the music industry was there, from the survivors of the summer of love to pop sensations, except for him. He went to a bar to drink by himself.
