Introduction:

Unbeknownst to most people the Wrecking Crew are one of the toughest teams around from nearly killing Hercules, and using Thor as a punching bag. As with most villains they are used as canon fodder and lose to people by all rights they shouldn’t. Below you can see why the Wrecking Crew put fear into the eyes of Hercules.

Alpha Flight #119 [Vol.1]:
Amped up from Thunderball's dimension siphon as prior to this appearance Loki stole their powers, and it was Thunderball who got their powers back with the siphon. Anyways the augmented Crew take on Alpha Flight and do exceptionally well, kinda dumb though that Wildheart and Nemesis get the best shots in but..there ya go.

Here the Crew evenly match the Defenders and even take it to Dr.Strange several times. Excellent showing as when Hulk arrives they even take it to him as well and in the next issue Wrecker solo’s him.

Interesting to note it seems the Great Beast Tanaraq has powered them up (mentioned in the handbooks) before Sasquatch fought them and then augmented them further later on in the series.
