GL says this, the story plot where Luke's test proves that Kyp Durron has a far greater potential says otherwise. Therefore a conteradictian!
Here is what you obviously don't get: IF Jedi Academy had the quote " Luke's test proved that Kyp Durron had a FAR GREATER potential than Anakin Skywalker." Then there would be a contradiction. This doesn't happen, so GL's word, which definitly states something, as opposes to demonstrating something, wins. Its the same principle where you were trying to use what you THOUGHT YOU SAW on the bigscreen to overrule what a novel STATED to be fact. Novel wins hands down, when confronted with your interpretation. GL wins hands down, when confronted with your interpretation.
You saying Luke's test demonstrated that Kyp had more potential than Luke is your opinion, and your opinion only. and that isn't even touching on Anakin, who had greater potential than luke.
Look at the test:
Luke discovered it by trial and error. The only thing he actually knew was that it could detect force-users. He didn't know how it worked exactly. Part of his being thrown across the room was that Kyp Durron had a "stay out of my mind" reflex that Leia didn't have. Luke even referred to the contact he made with that side of Kyp's brain as "angry."
For all we know, should kyp have done the test on Luke, Kyp would have been pulverized against the same wall that Luke hit.
You are making VAST ASSUMPTIONS about the test, that aren't given to us, and trying to overrule GEORGE LUCAS with them? I will now repost this every time you post without addressing it.
