EXACTLY... She killed him before she could do it again and she infact TRIED to during the fight as insinuated by HER OWN statement about being sorry righ before Wolverine wounded the crap out of her.
She was flying off the handle after Morph got sliced in half and obviously pissed off, it didn't help her.
