Black Mage is the black mage from the original Final Fantasy. He's got Flare and can power up his attack power. But he is pretty weak.

in that case he takes it handily
gameplay-wise, vivi is the most powerful character in the game
canon-wise, he tooled the black-waltz and sent his boat flying with a single fireball, which is some of his weakest magic..
if vivi used twin meteor then geno is screwed, not to mention any attack geno uses can be thrown right back at him..
