I think more his standard villain gallery every villain he ever faced would include white martians, Darkseid and many more like that. But they still stomp.

Depends on how outlandish the team is allowed to get with their prep. I mean SHIELD and the X-Mansion have quite a few resources Cap and Wolverine could put to good use...
