That wrong, he did not allow either to do it. He did nto even expect it from x-23 and he simply new Wolverine was going to try it, not that he could stop it. Though they still loses.

Thunderclaps are not meant to knock them out, they,re there to separate them. And Wolvey and Sabs can't dodge them. But if they ever got close he can just hit the air. Daken wouldn't take the claps very well. I think you underestimate WWH's strength and intelligence. If they somehow manage to as you say "stick their claws into the ground to brace them" sweet then he can just grab one and go for a run.

Fair enough on the X23 point but the second he saw the claws he knew what to do.

they might not even be sharp enough to cut the hulk, and those claw sheaths run the risk of being broken on such a strong opponent.
