Use of cheat device = non-canon. Otherwise, the Arwings were pretty small.

False.. The first art of the master sword was created before it was even named, and it was bastard sword like then, too. It was in the Zelda II manual.

The Master Sword wasn't introduced till Link to the Past and it was the last game it was used, chronologically.

Link wielded the Magical Sword in Zelda 2.

Of all the pics and things Link is only slightly above the shoulder. And if it is a Clydesdale/64-68inches, Link is about 2inches above that.
After checks the MS scabbard is 52% OoTLink's height. 60% TPLink's height. TPLink is 85% OoTLink's, or OoT is 1.176x taller then TP. See, i included the sword ^^
Such painstaking detail!

Well, I guess that settles it.

But then again...

What if the Master Sword actually grew over time?

The Master Sword has always been the same (size and condition) as it was when it was made. It is safe to say it had more power (as it can throw magical projectiles in LttP unlike in OoT).

Can a sword grow O.o? Hm...

Find out for us! Plz?

Who do you think wins BloodRain? Who does BT think will win?

unless the sword grows with her >.>

We already decided that War and Ruin win this.

Hmm... Link is considerably taller than that caped girl.

I think that Link and the caped girl win.

Did BT say that War and Ruin win?

Girls the sword (we think) and she isnt in this race .___.

Not that i know... But even the Link fans agree War and Ruin win.

Just checked the first post; I didn't realize this was a horse race.

What is Link going to ride?

Link and Epona

War and Ruin

No fair, one has flaming hooves. What the hell is wrong with that guy's hands?

That huge arm that War has is a prosthetic arm. He lost an arm when tried to fight his brethren. Fury ripped it off with her whip.

Why so huge though? Intimidation factor?

Maybe. If I saw somebody going after me with an arm that big, I'm going long distance.

Link wielded the Magical Sword in Zelda 2.

Like I said, before the master sword was named. Note also that the first two Zelda games contain Engrish. The original intro to tLoZ is almost indecipherable 😛

The art for the Master Sword is there, in the Zelda II Manual. That for me tells me that the Master Sword and the Magic Sword are one and the same. Especially since Link used the Magic Sword to fight Ganon.

It was never even called the Master Sword in Japan and the art looks a lot different. Why do you think it was thrown in Soul Calibur 2? Using Engrish as your backup is pretty lame.

It's clearly a different sword.

This is non-canon, and the only time the swords are ever seperate.

The Master Sword wasn't named until aLttP, until then it was just "magic sword".

It's clearly a different sword.

Proof they're seperate: SC2

Proof they're the same: Official art from the Zelda II Manual, it's used to fight Ganon.

Actually, he did, when he threw the pillar. That's how much force it takes to do that. That is his strength.

Quantifiable and comparable numbers > wild mass guessing and random eyeballing.

Addressing your post now because I feel like it. 131

1. How the castle was destroyed is off-screen. For all we know, Ganon destroyed the castle. Prove to me Midna destroyed it. Also, can't Ganon only be killed by teh Master Sword, if so, wouldn't it be this invulnerability that protects Ganon, not durability.

Prove what you worked out via math is canon. It makes no sense for Link to be so ridiculously strong with one inconsistent feat.

Actually, we see Midna's attack, then the castle explodes.

Link poked him in OoT hard enough to damage/stun him without the Master Sword, when he was forced to use the Megaton hammer.

It's not inconsistant at all.. Link also fires an arrow to the sun, and pushes around blocks which would weigh over a hundred tons unenhanced. With enhancements and the amps provided from the power of the sages by the end game, Link is stronger.

Hell, in TP Link has no gauntlets or other strength enhancing items all game, and wins a sword lock with Ganon, who's comparable to OoT Link with the gauntlets in strength. He also stops and tosses a giant Goron heavy enough to snap the very large chains supporting a platform in the mines.

In WW, Link fires an arrow through a massive cyclone to hit a wind god who hangs out just below the clouds in it's center.

Inconsistent?

No, all it showed was Midna attacking Ganon, then the scene shifted to Link and Zelda. We don't know what happened. For all we know, Ganon blocked the attack, then shot a laser out of his ass and blew up the castle.

Was it canon he used the Megaton Hammer?

Fires and arrow to the sun? So let me get this straight. Link fires an arrow to the sun, the arrow then travels back to Hyrule, and Link gets the fire arrow, all in the span of a few seconds? LOL WUT?

Hundreds of tons is fine, sure. But it's nowhere near 60000 tons.

Nothing you said was 60000 tons

That doesn't require 60000 tons of strength.

Do you realize how strong someone would be if he could lift 60000 tons? Has Link EVER shown such ridiculous feats? None of that 100 ton crap. Link is well above 100 tons in strength, don't get me wrong. But 60000? Nah
