As Gallagher ponders, the assassin is still moving.

Up the top of the obelisk, she simply runs around it, tapping Carnival of Carnage to kill four Agalanians running into the area.. Howebver, at the top of the obelisk, firing, she has become somehwat more visible, and others can now see her.

Vera, some guards have got over to you- being clear from the blast zone- and ask you what is going on.

I wouldn't try it. Lifting is too slow.

Vera-Kin is satisfied that Essallin is alright, and so moves on toward the direction of the explosion, blaster in hand.

Since everything should be refreshed, can Vera have Orthodox Guard, Block , and Reflection in?

Yes she can, and there is a happening for you just above.

What would be needed to disarm her?

Impossible.

You should probably get up there.

"Get your men out of the area," Vera-Kin instructs. "Something has gone wrong and the pirates are NOT the cause. We can handle this."

Vera-Kin doesn't want more of them getting killed. She also asks them to secure Essallin and get her to safety. Vera presses on alone.

If she can see the woman on the obelisk, she will open fire.

"But it's the wrong tomb!" one of them complains, Vera. "That wasn't Renohan's tomb!""

The smoke and sand counts as a point of Parry for her. Now clocking in at four parry, your shot does not have a chance.

I'll take Dreams if I can, as a first action. Forgot to say.

"I realize!" Vera-Kin responds. She judges the distance too extreme and puts her pistol away. "We have a different threat. What tombs lie over on that side?"

"The Tomb of Tal'Asur II," he says. "From the First Dynasty. It makes no sense! There is nothing of value there. That Dynasty was before the time of great riches. Just... trinkets and ornaments."

"perhaps this woman does not seek riches. Who was Tal'Asur II?"

Can Vlad leap onto the obelisk and engage her with his lightsabre there? Anything to distract her from slaughtering the guards would be useful.

I will have the freighters surrender and land on the surface of the planet if they can.

I will also have Jelena go check out what is up with the ground people going out of contact.

Wentar will stay on his guard, flying around in case any of the pirates try to make a break for it.

Xeth regains his feet after the explosion and sees that someone is standing impossibly on the side of an obelisk, firing blasters downward. Through the sand he catches a glint of lasers flashing against lightsabers and knows that this person is no friend of the Jedi. He does not bother trying to sense trouble; he knows from experience that he will sense little. The Dark Side is at work.

Without hesitation, Xeth reactivates his lightsaber and rushes to help Gallagher.

Ok, you guys close in on her. Vlad can indeed get an attack in, using charge. However, with so many closing in on her, she taps unknown to end the combat.

The assassin sees Vlad jumping up towards her, and jumps away from the obelisk. At the top of her jump, she rotates around 180 degrees... and is now 'falling'- sideways- towards Renohan's tomb.

"You!" yells out Sunda, when he gets sight of her. He runs full pelt towards the tomb.

Jelena is glad to see the pirates surrender without too many casualties and is impressed with how quickly the Jedi teamed with the Agalanians were able to disable the freighters. However, like Wentar and Roan, Jelena is worried when she realizes that they have no contact with the surface. When Roan orders her to race down and investigate, she does so quickly.

"I will report what I find," Jel says.

Gallagher grinds his teeth for a moment as he considers how he is going to get at the gunslinging phenomenon. He watches her gun down the four Agalanians no problem and decides to leap into action quite literally, jumping up onto the obelisk with her.

"I ORDER you to desist!" Gallagher yells, landing atop the obelisk and pointing his lightsaber at the woman. "Throw down your blasters at once! You are outnumbered! I may be a slouch with my lightsaber, but there are several others who are not."

Well, as noted above, Gallagher, she's not there any more.
