As far as dealing with the droids, I am guessing there needs to be a coordinated effort to get them shut off rather than just battling them until they're all destroyed. There has to be a signal transmitting to them to get them marching, after all! We kill the signal, we turn off the droids, just like Naboo and Alura.

Unfortunately, I don't know that Vera-Kin has a means of tracing the signal that the droids are receiving.

I'd say Vera has raised a good point with the droids there... though you also need to contain what havoc they might cause.

That's mean three groups. One group looks for Katai, One fights the droids and another shuts them off.

I'm starting to think that if any of us want to find Katai we need to regroup back to the security station or offices.

(Maybe that's something Andro and Argo can do., find the Droid's signal. Are there facilities/personnel I we can access for signal searching?)

The droids are in more than one place.

There's no time for messing around regrouping; you blew all your time when you scattered into the Repository as Katai wanted you to.

I need a more defined idea than that. There is no 'droid signal searching' department around.

I get my R2 to scan EM frequencies until he finds something that matches what we'd expect for a remote droid signal. He's not doing anything helpful by watching cameras anymore anyway.

And he would love to do so if a. you could communicate with him and b. he wasn't off-lined by something, as Roan has found.

So. we can't coordinate, we can't talk to officials, we can't monitor anything, and wandering won't help.

Xeth, can you send a pulse in the Force or something so we can locate you? If we're not catching this *****, I'd at least like to whup me some battle droids.

We should have formed a better plan before you guys got here, so everyone had something to do. My bad, I'll be ready next time.

Hindsight is particularly powerful in role-playing- but it is very rare that players get stuff planned precisely, especially when there are so many of you. Virtue, then, tends to come in how you react.

You guys may wish to think about some more traditional methods of attracting attention.

Those of us with guns could fire them into the air to give our position!

Or yelling loudly. I don't know if that can be heard in the Repository (distance, indistinguishable from other screaming).

The idea earlier floated about simply going upwards for a better view was fair. Firing guns is a possibility. That sort of thing.

Can Vera-Kin move toward Xeth's position but also move higher up, so that she can get a full grasp of the situation before diving in to fighting battle droids? Simply engaging them isn't going to do the trick it sounds like.

Is it also feasible to reseal the vaults that droids are coming out of? If not electronically then maybe with Lift.

I think moving upwards, above Vault level is the best plan to regain each others' positions.

You'd have to Lift the doors under fire; not easy. And they may just open again.

'Simply engaging' the droids is essential. Someone has to.

There is no level above the vaults though- there are just higher levels of the Repository.

I have a point in Guns and a point in Languages. Can I shoot into the air, spelling my name in morse code?

Ush, you said the numbers didn't correspond to close-by locations exactly, but we all sort of went to our own places (the a couple came to me after my intuition). Does anyone know who exactly IS grouped up right now? I remember Vera and Iffa came to me, so I think we're together.

Yup- I listed who was with whom a little earlier. You are with a small group.

Well, Tilulla is firing into the air! Not everyone can see that as clearly as you would on a flat plain, but it is some kind of signalling you can work from.
