USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (LIGHT SIDE)- Harmony

What is it to be then, Iffa?

Gallagher- well, yes but you have no reason to think it will help.

Iffa won't tap anything at this stage - somersaulting into the fray, Iffa reflects shots against him before cleaving through the droids. Incidentally, can I use whirling strike with a lightsabre?

Afraid not!

Targeting which group? Trivia difference but nice for me to know.

Iffa will sweep into the group that Vera isn't engaging.

Hmmm, there really isn't much more use in where I am.

One last stab at trying to think of ways to catch Katai! How many exits are there to this place? Is it open so that Katai could just run out of the repository anywhere or are there places you have to go through to leave?

Even if it wasn't open, Katai can bypass anything like that. As it is... it's open.

I already said that if you don't get her before she starts leaving you won't get her at all.

So basicly we have to focus on the exits instead of tracking someone through vaults...

Is my 2 on languages good enough to also ask the creature if he saw Katai, besides my previous question?

No, focussing on the exits is after she starts leaving. That's the complete opposite of what I was saying. You get her at the target, or you miss her. You know that Katai can not be prevented from escaping. This is the one and only chance you have to catch her at her target; there will not be another.

It's certainly enough for you to know that it's not asking you about Katai.

Roan- ok! You have an area near the base of the Repository that fits all the exclusions you came up with and is away from any of the anomalies or droid hotspots. It's not a pinpoint on a vault but it is MUCH more manageable than any other option- indeed, the whole team could have searched the area relatively quickly. Now there are a number of 'issues' but... obstacles are there to be overcome!

-

Jovan- the Telanian is telling you that it cannot find its sister. It has been buzzing on her frequency but heard back nothing, which means she must be nowhere near the local area.

-

Vera's gone nuts! She gets her two kills and the Reflect kill as requested. Iffa, you seem to be next to a whirling green blur of death. What would Yoda say?

(Note: irony)

Iffa is no slouch- he kills two also (no Reflection this turn I am afraid). These things fall over pretty easily it seems, Iffa!

More droids will come next turn but you guys have the edge right now; if you want to try a means of sealing the vault then feel free to pitch ideas!

-

Jelena- you need Twirl for that I am afraid. You hack down some droids and take some fire. With two of you there you can also look into vault closing options; you are not quite as on top of things but you can't kill them faster than they are coming out.

-

Tilulla- following noises of battle, you have found Hotspot C. However, by the time you engage some 15 droids will have come out of there; not easy!

-

Wentar, agitated,. all you can do is watch the swarms of feeling Telanians taking to the skies and getting the heck out of there as best they can, many under fire. You can also hear Jelena fighting down below.

-

Xeth, you are with Wentar on the agitation but searching around, you are seeing even less.

Are you clear on the notation there, Iffa?

Can I ask him where his sister was last reported to be seen or ... buzzed at? I'll tell him that as soon as I can get this group of civilians to safety, I'll go look for her so I'll need all the info I can get.

She was in a different sector of the Repository- a fair way away!

Way, way out of shouting range, for example.

I will tell him I'll do my best but that I have to make sure other civilians, who are closer by, should be saved as well.

Does he carry a gun? Have I encountered guards or at least someone who got military training?

Hmmm. I need to go about this differently. We should try to get the comms working. Now I doubt she could jam the whole repository.

How are the communications handled? Like is there a transmitter we tap into with our comlinks, etc?

Your commlinks work independently so it must be a broad jamming.

Unfortunately, as Roan can tell you, Katai has extremely potent technological trickery.

-

He does not carry carry a gun, no. And you've not seen a single security guard.

-

Please note I gave some hints in that last update.

(Gah, been a crazy weekend. Can Andro just shout to the room in a commanding voice?)

"Everyone! We must locate that droid signal. Who can help with that?"

With Leadership he can indeed! We'll say you've heard about the droids by now.

But they aren't sure- do you have any proposals?

Damn, that means no one can take over the last 100 meters. Is he a bug that can fly?

All the Telanians fly.

Wait.
The Telanians can communicate through buzzing frequencies? And they can do it over a semi-large distance? That means we can communicate! Well, as long as we can talk to the Telanians.

Alright, so here's the plan.
Since we are helping the people, they can help us back (yay Light Side)
So. If you have Language, Talk to the Telanians around you. Ask them to help you look for Katai. They can fly, cover more distance and know the vaults way better than us.
If I can tell the Telanian that was in Admin where I think Katai's target is, maybe he can pass it along and let everyone know.

Indeed!

The Telanians are a means of searching and communication that Katai has overlooked.
