You know, if you're going to tap Focused Guard, you could move in with Vera-Kin and Iffa to attack droids, then tap Bodyguard too so that both of us get the benefit of your tapped Defense.

Then Iffa, you could tap Reflection and so could I for extra kills to clear out these droids really damn fast.

Sound good?

Sounds like a plan. Make it so, Number One.

/picard

Tap FocG & BG.

"I have friends now," I say. "Round 2?"

I'm going to go through the files and try to come up with the solution/answer.

Jelena/Wentar, If you send me a Telenian to tell me what you have found, we can perhaps attack this from both sides and find it faster.

Are you attacking anyone, Tilulla?

Yes, the droids. I think we're doing that tap flurry Vera suggested.

Sure, but your character does not attack unless you specify it and your post did not do so.

Sorry boss, still learning the ropes here. I attack. We haven't done a new turn since this was decided, so I assume there's no harm done. Thanks for the reminder though.

An issue there Roan is I think all the Telenians fled from the battledroids, also we're assuming Ush lets us suddenly realize we can use the Telenians.

I think Jelena is onto something with having me veer off. Though with the jammer up I'm not sure how we're going to communicate.

No problem, digi- it's only because there have been issues before in interpreting people's instructions so long ago I made a blanket ruling that all instructions must be made clear and explicit. Saves a lot of hassle.

Their initiative again and this completely messes up the plan for you guys up front as Tilulla is not next to you. You Jedi need to learn to adjust for who goes first! The Dark Siders are getting it now. I don't think I can rule out the taps in good conscience as they can still have an effect- except the Bodyguard tap that now has no purpose.

10 attacks; random factor says Iffa gets the bonus one! Tilulla, still in cover, is pretty much unhittable when combined with that tap. Iffa's Reflection tap does not go well; three of his attackers hit him ruling out a bounce kill. Only the single miss is bounce-killed. If you guys had co-ordinated that Guard tap from Tilulla correctly, that would much more likely have been more.

Vera gets hit by all three attackers and hence doesn't even get a chance to Reflect, so at least I can leave it not tapped.

The good news is that the three of you are now together and wiped out the droids on the middle walkway. The bad news is that by tapping, Tilulla is left with virtually no defence.

-

Wentar is correct. In fact, it it not until thi turn that the Telanians get to you to tell yo what is going on!

Jelena- well you need three people to triangulate, hence the name. A double bearing would indeed be better but you need to be suitably far apart and it's darn tricky without comms, like Wentar said. A lengthy project all told.

-

Andro, one of the Telanians has reached you too and is buzzing away at you. It's taking time for you to communicate with it though.

-

Gallagher, you have reached the vault entrance. It is very dark inside and you cannot see anything useful within.

-

Jovan- they don;'t know of any fighting; they are not searching the same areas he is as he already has them covered.

You have now entered the search area.

Roan, the aide hurries over to you.

All of the vaults you have nominated as producing droids are on the account of a technological resale company. Each is listed as

"Technical spares (200 units)"

A)200 droids apiece? Crap.

B) Is there another vault with similar specs? Same company, same or similar description?

Those droids are designed for compact and easy transportation- way more then they are designed to be elite fighters.

Why yes! That company owns an additional vault in the area.

Alright, Thats the place! I'm going to send out a Telenian with excessive haste to go find Jelena/Wentar and tell them where to go.

Tap Cleave and mince those droids!

What do I exactly see at this search area? Vault and vaults and more vaults?

Argh, coordination. Sub in Forward Guard. I'll use that Bodyguard tap now if it's all the same to my compatriots.

Shouldn't be necessary.

Swap BGU for OGU, tap it if the droids get initiative.

Vera-Kin leaps down and destroys two more droids.

If there is a Telanian or two around, Gallagher will report what he has found and send them to tell Roan and any other Jedi nearby.

"Come, D'an," Gallagher says. "We don't have time to waste."

Gallagher will advance into the vault. Is it dark enough that a flashlight would be needed? Does Gallagher have something like that (besides his lightsaber)?

You won't know that until you get in there.

Nope, no Telanians around.

Gallagher is going to keep moving toward it then.

Xeth keeps pressing on!
