Okay, lets get this boat rocking.

Ok, then you guys have touched down on the water up against a rather ramshackle wooden dock on one of the artificial islands.

There is a lot of activity outside. Not quite a riot, but a lot of civil discontent. There is certainly no order being enforced.

SPECIAL RULE APPLYING FROM THIS POINT ON!

If you cause three or more deaths amongst the locals, then you automatically fail the mission.

Lets go with no killing, AT ALL. And more preferably, NO VIOLENCE. Talking, mind tricking, being nice. All good things. Less stabbing.
Lets try to make our way towards the ship as inconspicuously as possible

Are you bringing lightsabres?

That's a good question. The diplomat in Jelena says it could be a good idea to go without, if the situation arises for us to show that we're unarmed and not a threat. But this is a chaotic place and we wouldn't have a means of protecting the Senators if it came to a fight.

Does a heavy blaster pistol have a stun setting? And Denzral will be bringing a lightsabre, but keep it hidden.

I'm thinking that it might also be a good idea to ban Lightsabers. Less chance for mis-interpretation.

Gallagher will see how D'an feels about going without his lightsaber.

He will also make sure that everyone leaves their weapons behind.

I don't, for the simple reason that when they start shooting we are sitting ducks.

It might be "easy" for Jedi to sneak in, but it's not easy to get the Jedi AND the senators out without being noticed.

The lightsabres do not have to be lethal if you reflect shots into the floor/ceiling and can allow you to pass through empty hallways...

Guns count as lethal I am afraid.

You may attempt to strike to disable rather than kill. You can only do this with Guns if you have Eagle Eye. You can all do it with sabres or armed use of Combat. However, if you roll two or more successes over that which you needed to drop the target, you have killed the target in error.

Unarmed combat is safe unless you use a schtick which gives it a * rating or in some way makes it easier to kill mooks. Most offensive Force powers kill, but Combat Push and Grip can be used safely.

Alright, So everyone but the scholars are competent in unarmed combat, and then Gallagher has Combat Push, and stuff. And Jelena can talk to people. (except for Denzral whose character sheet is not in the Archives thread)
AND our plan does not involve us escaping with the senators. What it involves is us securing the senators, then contacting the Union and beginning negotiations.
For anyone unclear on the plan. It has 4 main steps.
1) Land undetected (Done!)
2) Sneak to the Senator's ship
3) Secure the Senator's ship, with minimal violence
4) Contact the unions to begin negotiations.

So on that note, I'm handing down a decree. NO WEAPONS. I don't want to risk it.

what's preventing them from blowing up the ship when we secure the senators?

I don't know everyone on the planet, nor the countless stranded people. You only need one lunatic.

If they wanted to kill the senators, they would have done that already.
Also, if they were going to blow them up, lightsabers wouldn't help.
