They develop based on what you do and how you treat them.

Can Jelena tell if something is inciting the worsening atmosphere? She can't sense what she felt on Cassilis, I hope...

Jelena- no, it's just good old fashioned angry people this time. A fight is going to break out here any moment. Many of these people are armed.

Andro- as there is only one 'overland' route, this will mean either the main group delaying or you going after the main group. Is that ok?

What are they armed with?

Jelena herself will keep an eye out for places they could take cover if things became nasty.

Various sidearms. Hard to find shelter- rioters will go anywhere!

I don't suppose a daring speech from the diplomat from somewhere dramatic like a statue or fountain would help calm the madness?

I think lightsabers weren't such a bad idea after all.

it would cause a lot of attention towards you though. I mean, you won't be able to go around unnoticed after a dramatic speech

It might!

Force powers that affect crowds a big plus...

(Sure. Argo and I can go after the main group. That way, if things go sideways before we arrive, it's kinda like getting reinforcements. If they're still talking, our arrival will make the bad guys have to wonder just how many Jedi are coming.)

We might want a plan adjustment. If we are going to attempt to calm the riot, those who stick around and do that cannot attempt to rescue the senators. So I think that if the Intrusion guys want to keep going they should, and those of us who can try to calm down the crowd can stay.

Ok,
1) I have the best powers for controling/talking to a crowd. I have presence to be noticed and leadership, both in stats and in force powers
2) Did Jelena make and empathy roll on the crowd? If not, I'd like to do that.
3) Is there an authority figure present? Someone the crowd is viewing as a leader?
