USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

Well, we kind of don't really know where anything up here is, and where there'd be another decent hiding place...

Hiding gets you little anyway.

The thing is that we don't know where to send anyone to scout, nor do we know if these folks want to kill us or if the thief is holding to his word.

Well, you guys are going to have to make a call. There is no useful middle ground here (thank God, because the typical RPer's obsession with middle ground gets on my wick) so you have to commit oner way or the other.

Time is running out. What are you going to do?

The middle ground could be splitting the party into two groups, just to be bothersome. 😉

Anyway, call it to a vote, I guess.

Do we run or do we stay?

Galder says run.

This is why I inserted 'useful'...

Touché, sir...

Stay, time to try negotiations. it is not like we can try hiding there on Red effectively against people that know this place well!

You have nothing to offer them, you just slaughtered a bunch of their people and you have been ordered dead. Not ideal negotiating positions. If your conclusion is that Kai has sold you out, you have to run.

Run back where, back to the Green? Humiliate oourselves before bunch of thugs that are worthy only of being our slaves?

Can I try some kind of Force prediction? Maybe toss the stone that Adelmo's Lady-In-Waiting gave me?

Gave 'you'.

Still a stone!

Running back to green won't help- they'll have more men at the crossing by now.

What would you have done on red if you hadn't taken Kai? Consider that.

Well, we certainly planned on getting more followers but we are too injured to challenge the authority of the local leaders.

We either need to find some place to hide and heal or try to find Kayda and assume he may be not automatically hostile to former associates of Kuylen.

Indeed so!

On the other hand, I am not convinced Kai is going to betray us, he seemed to want to affect the group dynamics in favor of Rand, is one thing....and he indeed may have bigger opportunities with our group than with local gangs.

How so?

We are a group of around ten above average force-users, it is not something common in the galaxy these days. If Kai wants to escape this prison and has some ambitions beyond, he should stick with us. I doubt that the thugs on Red can give him more.

Unless, on the other hand, all he wants is cozy retirement in the Red.

That's an attractive prospect to some. And you've not actually told anyone you plan to escape, let alone convinced therm how. Heck, you don't even know how.

Run. We have no chance of surviving a fight right now. And what else could Kai be doing but selling us out to someone?

Rianna doesn't trust him in the least and points out again (staring pointedly at Rand) that her vision told her that not everyone can be trusted on Green...and oh, look where trusting people anyway has gotten us!

Definitely. The problem is that we're not sure how to find Kayda, though. But that's where Galder thinks we should run to, if anywhere. We don't know where we can hide unless our Forcies can sense that sort of thing.

As mentioned, hiding is not much of a solution. What does it get you? You plan to hide forever?
