What does that get you that the corridor just outside doesn't, (except for having a bunch of hostiles near you)? Hence me specifically querying the value of merely going to the area of the doors; I really was not sure what you meant.

Con- there's no point spreading your bets with Kai. If he IS hostile and you leave someone behind to find out, they might never be able to tell you. Likewise if he is not. The situation is simpler than that- if he is hostile, move. If not, stay. You can get yourself killed trying to find a clever middle ground

I say we move now.

Relle has been around a bit so she should perhaps take the front and have a couple people with good Observation ahead making sure to keep eyes open on anything or one coming close to us.

Chunn should be up front as well and have someone next to him who can keep him calm not go charging off.

Did we pass anything else between the doors to Green and here?

And did Relle spot anywhere we could temporarily move to while she was making her way back to us?

You passed a bunch of gumf but you weren't paying much attention. This level is mostly very boring, functionally- sleeping quarters, laundry, changing rooms, admin etc.- all now long in disuse and taken for other purposes.

What about a medical bay?

You didn't see one- and you imagine such a thing would have been stripped bare a long while back.

Ok, anyways, I think we should go now, leave the decon area and take a route to avoid Kai and his people. I assume there's some sort of community built here, perhaps there are certain outcast types on this level, too which we could contact with without danger of being attacked? Could Con's savoir-faire and observation help to guide us an area where these types of people would gather? Perhaps they could tell us more about the level and where we could find Kayda or what other interesting people may be on this level?

You are either in with one of the Red gangs, you flee back to Green, or you are dead. There are no outcasts of any type.

Maybe meeting one of the other gangs may be useful.

you say there are other rooms near by, lets go look into them, we might find something useful, perhaps one of them has multiple doors for escaping, either way where we are now is where Kai is bringing people back to get us so we need to move!

Sadly not (there are only three in any case, you may remember).

You need to get away from specifics. If you had seen anything useful, I'd have told you. Most other things should have been prepped in advance of now. There is, again, no point you looking for a clever or inventive way out. I just want to know your ultimate, practical goal, then we can work on how you do it.

Well, from a dream Con doesn't know anything about I think the ultimate goal is to breach this levels walls but not without stealing its treasure.

But the first thing seems to be avoiding Kai and there really seems to only be one way, leaving the decon area and taking a less obvious and travelled route around the approaching people. In a next step it may be smart to find out what sort of treasure this place might hold.

You have no time or capacity to do any such thing (nor do you know what that dream meant anyway).

I meant what your goal is for this section of the story.

I think we need to see who Kai brings with him more than just avoiding him. Otherwise we don't know what we're dealing with in the least.
