Oh hang on a minute. I'll let him off. He never touched it. It was meant to say 'I CAN'T carry you all' Physically I mean!

That's the half bottle of wine for you!

Either way, you are kind of carrying the team!

I was gonna make an alcohol joke, but then I remembered you are like an all powerful force child and I am a knock on the head away from certain burn death. (also it's hard for me to separate game from reality)

Hardly! I came in 7 turns in. That's kinda cheating really!

Con'll give you credit, also you'll be a good addition to the "non-psycho" "non-bookworm" part of the group, so he likes that. (it's too early to tell, and friendships have to develop over time, but there's a good chance you'll be his second bestest friend!)

Ha ha sounds as though he throws those BFF titles around fairly loosely!

Well, he knows only 9 people, and most of them are assholes.

No offense, guys.

I'm not feeling the love in this team!

2-4; initiative is theirs. Shucks.

However, Dak is having no truck with initiative this round as being knocked down last round gives him a legal Charge tap. He goes in BIG time with his super-tap spend of doom against which Rivas is indeed tapping Duck. In fact, Dak rolls extremely well and the Strike would be overkill, so I'll refund that point. To Rivas's surprise, Dak leaps to his feet and starts to drive the Emperor back with an amazing flurry of blows, for 24 damage.

Now I can get on with the bad guy's turn.

And here Con's luck finally runs out, as a single 6 brings him down at Floor South. Relle taps ES to stay safe.

Dak's super-aggressive run on Rivas and Staff G finally winds down, and he is felled by a blow form the staff master. This turn is too much for Rura as well, who is out of options. Galder just about manages to fend off his attacks.

Now you guys!

Galder really doesn't roll as he would have liked on his Pikeman foe.

Relle blasts a guard with ease.

Edna, grudgingly, rises Gallador out of the flames before he barbecues!

Rianna Dashes over to Staff G and mad-flurries at him. Sadly she;ls just out of luck as a 3 creeps into her roll, but it is still 18 damage under trying circumstances. Xavier tries to come over to help, but finds an Emperor in his way. No slouch Xavier though- he gets through Rivas' Duck tap to score a hit.

Graf finishes Pike F, to make life a little easier for Galder.

The fire is spreading to Floor North and South!

Oooh, this is going to be close...

Sorry if I have missed anything, only it is not easy to wade through that lot, especially when you keep changing actions.

I suppose I couldn't retroactively use defensive leap?

You declared an attack!

But irrelevant anyway- they were already rolling the minimum single attack die. Without a Parry you are never 100% safe

Bummer, I guess someone'll have to save me!

How about evade?

Oh wait, that only halfs as well, so I guess that won't work either.

🙁

Can I move while holding up Gallador or am I going to fry as a result of saving his ass?

You can move indeed. Graf certainly is.

Sidestep would save you...

Xavier will attack Rivas this turn

Tap RI, and BG

He will also spend a force point on Strike with Rivas as the target.

So at last we get to take on the Mighty Rivas. KILL HIM!

"EVISCERATE HIM!... today you die Rivas, and YOUR HEAD IS OURS!" Xavier growls at Rivas, his dark persona taking over, then he launches himself at the feared Pirated Lord.

That I sadly do not have.

That's why it's a high level power! Reducing to zero is significant.

Especially against Osokans.
