She shrugs.

"Someone needs to look after you people."

"So you're going to be our caretake huh. How do you feel about that?" Xavier asks.

"I'm not sure how I feel about that," Galder says. "Then again, Adelmo was threatening you. Were you ditched or was this your decision?"

When did Adelmo threaten her?

"By look after, do you mean making sure that we do follow Adelmo's will exactly as she wishes it? I understand that the Lady is very worried about us meeting Ascar - he knows much about her and Thalos".

Xavier looks to Galder, "I don't Adelmo was threatening her so much as us."

"Killed by your Mistress Lady Adelmo, you mean? Ascar implied she always planned to eliminate us eventually, which saddens me, as I wanted to learn more of her vision of bringing Harmony to the stars".

"Yeah we could probably use that kind of help, although we did make a pretty spectacular escape from Selene"

"Why do you say we would be doomed?" Xavier asks politely.

"Because I can see the future," she says, plainly.

"You guided her on your own initiative? I actually had visions of Adelmo before we met, but she told me that the future is all of her own making when I raised the matter.

In a way, I have to thank you, Eller. We were fading into obscurity until you came, now we are at least back to doing things that matter".

"Yeah that's a good point," Xavier laughs since he is such a good mood that no one died.

"Obscurity maybe. Not so obscure that you avoided dying though. The future is always changing, and I thought that interacting with Adelmo would change your paths so much that it would no longer happen.

"Well that's not very good, why are you so interested in us staying alive, and also how have you been besides today's incidents?"

"Well, everyone dies eventually. It is when and how that matters. Do the stones tell anything more? And why would you care about our fate, besides what Adelmo plans?"

"I don't know anything more. Only that it was soon. And I think you may turn out to be useful, is all. So. I'll stay, unless you want me to go."

"No you can stay, we definitely need all the help we can get." Xavier says in response.
