Rand intervenes himself between Haron and Galder and addresses the former, in his business-like attire and with phenomenal power in the Force for someone so untapped.
"Haron, the Force will help you here," Rand says. "When we fall, it can cushion the impact. Anyone gifted with the Force such as you can do it. Galder speaks true, we do not want to make enemies of those we are put here with."
Rand will also look for something to grab onto to prevent falling into the pit, though he has a feeling that there will be nothing.

I'm working off of the idea that Orphans do not really know their full potential. I'm sure Haron understands what Leaping is and does.
Azarl will jump down into the tube. He is sliding with it and glad that Emperor Rivas doesn't simply execute his prisoner by dropping them into a mineshaft.
This whole time he has been considering how uncomfortable he feels without his lightsaber, when before his time with this group he was fine without it.
Ok, so, at this point, each of you is falling down this giant tube, not dissimilar to Luke in ESB indeed, though much wider, darker and with more screaming.
Everyone will have to make Agility rolls to try and avoid damage during the scramble. Haron has some cushioning, however, as he finds a fat guy to take the brunt of any falling damage...

I just didn't think it'd be a good idea to make enemies right away, but obviously you're going to come out on top here. It'll compensate for you getting smashed in the face earlier.
All actions have consequences!
And yet- alienating a random fat guy might be seen as trivial. He's hardly going to come back at you about it.
It's a very nasty world you are being dropped into...
