How close have you got to a celebrity?

Started by Jaeh.is.Awesome4 pages

what kind of a celebrity? I'm friends with a local indie one, and a local kid prodigy.

the hollywood ones are a little harder to reach, haha.

Alex Meraz has wrapped his arm around me.
Peter Steele has hugged me 3 times. And touched my boobs. And my shoulder.
Johnny Kelly has wrapped his arm around me.
Scott Warren has wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
Matt Brown has wrapped his arm around me.

Just remembered I met Al Gore back in the 2nd or 3rd year of his first term as Vice President. Came to my elementary school and shook a lot of hands while news cameras were there.

thats an evil bastard you dont want to brag about meeting let alone shaking the hand of.

I ****ed the Olsen twins before they were famous.

😆

I shook Jamie Fox's hand while I was at the NBA all star game several years ago, I'm about his height, but I noticed that he has much smaller hands than I do.

That same night I also met Bow Wow, it kind of freaked me out, but then again I was with my uncle, and he is usually around crowds of famous people. It's in his job detail.

So wrong. Made me lol though.

I checked out Roy Jones Jr and Mike Tyson at different times of the same day at the grocery store I used to work at

That is cool. What were they like?

Tyson was bummed out about something. He kept fidgeting around, too, like he was nervous about something. Jones was a talky person. He kept chatting about useless garbage and kept bragging about some of the hits he had made in his early career.

I wasn't really that pleased with checking out both, although it was weird checking them out on the same day

That is a day you will never forget!

Welll this past weekend I was at Barnes and Noble here in N.Y.C.(on 66th st) while I was leaving, I saw Robin Williams enter with his wife...did not want to bother him at all.

A couple of months ago, I while walking past a japenese restaurant on Central park west, I saw Mr Spock himself Leonard Nimoy having dinner with his wife...man that totallly blew my mind.

I was shoulder to shoulder with Drew Barrymore at Virgin Records at union square....I am sure she would not mind if I had asked for her autograph but as I said, I dont like to harass.

The only two celebs that I have shook hands with is Patrick Stewart and Paul Sorvino and that's because when my aunt worked for the channel 4 news she introduced me to them.

I met Temple Grandin at an autism conference and got her autograph.

I forgot to add that Herman Li of Dragonforce walked about 15 feet in front of me at a concert. Right through the crowd too.

Met Tom Baker. He was a bit of an ass, but hey, it's Tom Baker.

That's an understatement 😄

Wish I had more of those days

I've met Kirsten Dunst in my work lift for a minute or two.
she voiced how much she hated Tobey Maguire.

And I also met Sir Anthony Hopkins in the same lift...I was running one of his Premiers. I freaked out couldn't talk just mumbled something along the lines of Hey great work. He just smiled and turned to an organiser and said "What a lovely young man".

At a golf tournament I did a news story on as the videographer, I had a conversation with Justin Timberlake. I told Bill Murray he was the best guy, and he turned and smiled at me. I explained to Donald Trump why I was at the golf tourney and he looked at me like he was going to fire me. I handed Andy Garcia a Hieniken. Mark Wahlberg looked at me like "who the **** are you?" when I told him what I was doing. I gotta say, Justin Timberlake was the coolest guy. I always thought he was a duchebag until I met him, he was super cool. I also filmed George Lopez crowd surfing. This was all in the same day at the golf tourney.

I've met Clint Eastwood several times since I worked with his wife, Dina. Went to their house once for a story. I interviewed James Brown at the Monterey Jazz Fest. I interviewed Ian Zering, turned out to be a really cool guy as well. I interviewed Paul McCartney at the opening of Cirque De Soleil's 'LOVE,' in Las Vegas. I interviewed Michael Kane, Rosanne Barr (who gave me a fat hug.) I interviewed Rihanna by myself, thought I was going to melt she was so hot in person. Interviewed Don Cheatle... several others, can't really remember right now, but those were the biggest celebs I've met, or at least interviewed.

Oh yeah, I met Julian McMahon when I PA'd a film he was in. He invited us to his 4th of July party where I went. He gave us a tour of his house. I had to pick up Lucas Haas and drive him to the set as well.
