Ready for season 10?
'Smallville' just received a big renewal order.According to a network press release, the hit CW series will return for an incredible 10th season after showing major gains in the ratings.
Since moving to its Friday-night time slot, 'Smallville' has increased 75 percent among adults 18-49 and a whopping 200 percent among men 18-34. (So much for Friday nights being a dumping ground for television.)
The CW has also renewed 'Vampire Diaries,' 'Gossip Girl,' '90210,' 'Supernatural' and 'America's Next Top Model' for additional seasons.
No word yet on the fate of the CW's remaining shows, including 'Melrose Place' and the long-running 'One Tree Hill.'
Awesome. I thought friday nights would be the death blow, I'm glad it wasn't.
