Then judging by what we saw in the 1st alien movie: Thats still some f***ing strong arsed acid. And if is sprays on the Doc himself, and thats quite likely indeed, whatever it touches is gone.
Yup, theres no debate if it gets on Ock that he is a goner.
However, if he knows about the blood, then there are ways he could dispose of them without much risk of getting sprayed.
Also some scenes in SM2 show that his tentacles can extend quite a distance which should keep him safe too.
Those things leap fast and even if he plugs one on the way in, the momentum of the acid will likely carry on towards him.
How can Ock stop them coming in with speed and viciousness, whilst ensuring that he can not break the skin.
Also: We've seen the Aliens wound themselves, sacrifice themselves to use their blood for either offense or escape in the movies too.
And what about surprise facehugger attack or An alien queen...?
Her tail probably has the reach of the Doc's tentacles. and she has many ways off attacking.
acid isnt doing the job against his tentacles. if the acid was as concentrated as people think it would have gone through hicks armor and his whole body... which it didnt. it melted his armor and severely burned his skin; theres also the scene in resurrection where the alien spits acid into the black guys face and all it does is cause super severe burns... it didnt melt his face off though. aside from that scene the only badass acid scenes weve seen is when it melts through the floors... which are what? each only an inch thick if that? octavius' tentecles are stated to be "nigh indestructible" or something akin to that and are designed to function in almost any environment... there is nothing logical that points to the acid taking any kind of toll on the tentacles.
that aside ock's tentacles act independently of his conscious, so it will be impossible fr him to be snuck up on, and they move fast enough to keep up with spiderman so no alien has a hope of getting in close enough to spray him anyway..
what really matters here the most is location... if hes just out in the open and is capable of being surrounded then he will be overwhelmed fairly quickly, though even in that situation he'll be able to kill at least 4 (one for each tentacle). if he can get himself into a sort of chokepoint where the aliens can only come one or two at a time then he can kill them forever until he dies of dehydration/starves... and even then his tentacles will continue to fight 😐

In Alien, a few drops melt through several decks (4, I think) of the ship. It's extremely powerful acid, at least in regards to human-made metals/alloys.

Didn't his tenticles die along with him in spiderman 2? I think when he dies they die...

i know the lights went out in the water. i dunno. i know that at that point though he was controlling them himself so maybe he shut them off? or, maybe, youre right and they shut off when he dies.
that last one doesnt help my argument though so lets just say its wrong 😄

thats what i was referring too. i think it was 4 or 5 yeah... each deck was only like an inch or two thick though... most floors are. and im not too impressed with any of the metals found on the ships in the alien movies TBH... the humans get screwed multipel times because theyre worried about the metal on the ships and in the colony being punctured by bullets... dunno how tough that metal is.
