To me that was more a low showing from Juggernaut.

When well written, Thanos can not really hurt Juggernaut. Oh maybe a bit, ok I'll give you that.

But still, blasts are not gonna work against Juggernaut, and trying to beat him to death is even a bigger mistake.

Thanos wins both, though Juggy makes him work for it in the first scenario. He's got no shot in the second, though.
