Yamamoto has Kido anyway, though. He's not limited to fire.

That gai's lava was hot enough to easily disintegrate a million+ ton glacier, and was able to even injure Whitebeard. While Yamamoto is immensely destructive, how hot is his Shikai's power?

That is because it was an explosion, not because it was very hot.

OP explicitly says Shikai.

Like? His only seen use of Kido was just a giant explosion.

Kido's a standard set of abilities within the Soul Reapers and he's a known master, so he should be able to do pretty much any we've seen (with the exception of Hachi's vizard kido), binding or blasting.

hmmm.... they're both powerful and are masters of fire but in some way Ace's flames seem to be more powerful (seem to be, not actually are).

Ace arguably match's Yamamoto best Shikai feat (that suicide explosion) with a single finger in his first appearance, he pwns and hard.
