The Metroid Metal remix of it is equally good though if you like metal.

My personal vote for absolute best however would have to go to Persona 3:

For me off the top of my head Mass Effect 1 had an awesome ending theme, really suited the end of the game. Oh and Medal of Honour Frontline had a spectacular theme that might just be my favourite, it really suited the game.

Some good entries. Funny how much the endings only resonate when there's some nostalgia for the game itself to harken back to. The "incredibly emotional" endings where I hadn't played the game barely registered with me. I think we're judging games here as much if not more than the actual endings.
