That's a battle hammer, you can smash through armor and break bones underneath, or you can just impale someone with it.

Gotta say, I wielded a 14th century warhammer, a one-handed battle axe, and a two-handed battle axe from the 10th century about a month and a half ago...and personally, I liked the one-handed battle axe a lot more. Could swing it much faster, and I could throw it. The warhammer just looked dangerous, like you could poke your eye out on the backswing. And the two-handed axe was just ****ing heavy.
