cap is a much more skilled fighter than supes, so if they have similar strength cap can win this easily

if captain America was given supermans exact powerset? It would be a tie... They are both smart capable fighters... Cap learned to excel with his gievm abilities... Superman with his... If cap was in supermans position they would be equals... And tbh I view it the same way vice versa... Even down to their personalities... Good old American boys.

This is basically a Thor VS Superman thread, with Mjolnir replaced with CA's shield.

I give Supes the edge, since he can move faster and can fly.

if cap is stronger and faster now, as well as given the ability to perceive even faster than he can already, who's to say he can't get an even split at least?
