STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- The White Tower of Halloy

It will be a free Force roll to get a general feel for the prisoners' moods, or a spend on Empathy to get some more directed, such as their feelings toward you or each other.

Denz'll go for the free Force roll. "Your choices are a blaster shot in the back as you flee, or stay here." Denzral looked at the forceshield. "How can you help me?"

Generally, they are afraid! They've been thrown into a dungeon without much of a trial, as you remember youself experiencing.

"In any way we can," the lizard man hisses. "You've run afoul of Lothar. So have we."

"How do you come to know as much as you do about Lothar?" Denzral asks. What do the shields come from?

The shields are projected from units inside the wall. They can be shut down by Soapy.

"I don't know anything," says the lizard man. "I just know that he imprisoned all of us here, and that he takes some of us away."

Very well soapy your up

Soapy shuts down the energy fields containing the prisoners.

It doesn't take Denzral long to assess that most of these detainees are purely civilians. All of them have some quality about them that must have led to their imprisonment- generally good build among men, good looks among women.

Some of them, however, protested against the King and his deportion policies and Lothar locked them away to keep them quiet.

The Lizard Man is one of them.

"What isss your plan?" he asks.

"Honestly, I don't have one. My plan went down the refuse about ten minutes ago. I engaged Lothar in combat, and if it hadn't been for Crutch I probably would have defeated him. Now I am badly hurt, and there is not much I can do about it." Denzral turns to go and get one of the Knights helmets.

"What are you going to do with that?" the Lizard Man asks.

Can Denzral put it on, and operate it? Looking specifically at things like com chatter.

You certainly can! It is not anything major like a power suit, just armor. Those Knights did have comm units in their helmets. The armor itself is heavy duty- it adds two points of protection. However, you take a penalty to your Agility per point of armor, and to your Lightsaber score.

Still, hard to see underneath that suit.

As far as comm chatter, you get that freely. The Knights are mobilizing around the Tower to intercept you and... move against the King! You have pushed Lothar's plans ahead due to your discovery.

The lying skill would be handy here, can I try pretending I am a Knight and make my way to the Kings quaters. Denzral will inform his new found allies whats going on.

Do the Knights have any medical kits Denz could use to help heal some more damage?

It will be Savoir-Faire to carry yourself comfortably in the suit and pass as one at a glance, but it is Lying to talk your way through if asked.

Mind you, the helmet has a rather deep and lethal burn across the brow.

Your allies want to know what you intend to do.

Denz'd stick out like a sore thumb in any environment.

Can he get the com gear out and use it as an ear piece?

"I don't know, I'm making this up as I go." Denzral grins, and turns around. "We should try and get to the king, before anything happens to him. Any of you feel confident enough to pass of as Knights, and want to help, get the armour on."

It would just be down to a roll with Savoir-Faire. Denzral has it.

It will be a Fix-It roll to break out the comm unit.

Sadly, no con men in this bunch. If anyone wears the armor, it will have to be you.

You will also need to explain why you have the contents of the prison coming with you into the Tower to anyone you encounter.

He has it, yes but the skill s quite low. 1 I believe. Denz'll break out the com unit.

Consider it confiscated.

Your newfound allies aren't terribly enthused that you don't appear to know what you're doing. They want to know how you intend to get to the King.

I'm more Indiana Jones, than Qui-Gon Jin. I'm personally not a great planner. Also I have no idea how to get there, maybe climb the outside of the tower.

Aha! Not a bad idea. You can hear from the radio chatter that the Knights are mainly searching inside the Tower for you.

It would be Strength rolls to scale the outside of the Tower.

The Lizard Man suggests that you leave the prisoners in the dungeon, but unlock the door and allow them to serve as a distraction if the guards come down looking for you.

"Very well," Denzral returns to the main entrance. He was going to suggest that the prisoners act as distraction, if they can. Probably shouldn't have wasted so much time. Can Soapy detect lifeforms on the other side of the door?

He will nod to soapy to open the door.
