depends on if you believe Nekron. Nekron right out stated he was Death, while when Deadman was inside the ring, he realized Nekron was living space.

DC's hierarchy is confusing, but I'm just telling you what the comics show. Nekon IS Death and living space or NOTHINGNESS. You can't kill something that's ALREADY dead.
