my family has always had wolfs as part of the family,,, my mothers family had a mexican wolf(timber wolf) on the family plot.
my mom use to tell me he use to walk them to school and the bus stop when she was a kid.. and when i was born he use to cuddle me and keep certain of my uncles from messing with me since i was only about 1 or 3 yrs old while they were 12 or 13 yrs old and didn't like me since i stole their attention.
my mom use to tell me i use to ride him and bite and pull his tail...
we dont know what happen to him he once took off and never came back he had bn with the family for over 15 yrs.. we didnt believe in caging him and it was a large wooded area and farm with animals he wasnt anymore ours then any of the other grown members of the family
after that when i was 16 i got two wolf/dogs to keep the family tradition and our original wolf's memory alive.
yeah my mom loves them noisy little bastards... could never really train them.. i think i only had one that was remotely sociable the rest would bite and get mad when you would get near the cage to change their food and water and clean their poop..
i had three cockatails one was trained b4 i got him.. he would fly land on my head and pick my hair and necklaces. the other two i tried to train and all i got was scratches and bites that some time drew blood..
