I hate to say this Thor fans.. but this is closer than ya'll think. he may use his weather manipulating abilities, but she is effin fast as fudge. may even have the edge in h2h combat as well.

Point of order: As we saw in her fight with the White Martian at the start of the JLA run, Wonder Woman can hold her breath for a very long time. She might win a kiss-off. 🙂

If Diana could defend herself against Flash when blinded, I can't see Thor beating her in H2H when she's healthy. Especially at the speeds she operates at compared to Thor.

A lot of his Mjolnir-less feats are displayed in Thor: Disassembled.

Found this one in Thor 82 v2.

Looks like an area of effect Godblast, but the range isn't all that great. And using it seriously weakened Thor, so he can't just spam it to keep Wonder Woman at bay.

Also, didn't Thor still have the Odin Force around this period? Can we say with conviction that this was all Thor's innate ability?

No he did not have the OF, it came around later. Awfully sexy don't you think? 😛

I'm sort of against Thor vs threads when he doesn't have Mjolnir. It's sort of like taking away Hal's GL ring 🙁

Yeah, it's a part of his character.

The Omni directional blast is impressive stuff, but looking at the after effects it's no replacement for his hammer.

having read almost any Thor book I must say it is far from that.
although currently he is underwritten, in the past he had pretty good h2h showings. I go by the whole Thor history and not only recent events and say that Thor is a competent H2H combatant.

I just try to avoid giving Thor any credit.

Thanx...I have all avengers issues and vol 2 & 3 in books.
He actually show some great fighting skills in the dissassembled series too.
Anyway I know Thor is much more effective when he fights with Mjolnir (he's been doing so his whole life) but to say he is useless without it is an understatement IMO
