MewTwo could passively maintain a world-wide, life-wiping storm powered only by his own psychic power. 😐 simultaneously: He fought Mew to a stalemate, and blocked the powers of every pokemon on his island.

But did he do that in game?

No, but his ability to do so is canon. Mewtwo is freakin' uber.

So anything that happens in the show is allowed?

Unless contradicted by the games.

You should actually 😛. Just post a strat you think can work against your opponent. You can also post who you think will win in the other matches.

Remember, base stats, and all abilities learned by leveling up only; no TM's or HM's.

For each match/round? Nahh. I thought about it, but it will be all over the place.

We should stick to this thread for now, then maybe we can use new threads if this tourney pans out.

-Start off by summoning Rhyperior to use Rock Wrecker on Articuno (4x damage from a powerful STAB Rhyperior). That should kill it or leave it barely alive.
-Dusknoir uses Gravity to bring the Birds down to the ground (And if you think about it, reducing their speed by alot (Birds arnt fast runners))
-While Dusknoir uses Gravity I'll have Gallade uses Helping Hand on Swampert for that boost in strength.
-Swampert uses Earthquake on the two or three birds left standing. If Articuno survived its pretty much gone now. Moltres and Zapdos with their 2x weakness to ground will be taking some heavy damage.
-And if they're not down yet, Aerodactyl and Dragonite use Ancient power and Hyper Beam on Moltres and Zapdos respectfully.

hm. Well, my strategy against the weather trio will require some thought. 😛 I do know that I'm gonna use Wobbuffet to step in and make Rayquaza own himself. 131 But taking down Kyogre and Groudon will be hard. 🙁
