fair enough. there is still the point, though, that in any proper debate, quality will always take precedence over quantity.

but to be fair... If you have two 100 tonners.. And one has more appearances... It's more likely he is gonna be put in the scenario that has the better chance at better feats...
And to be fair... Dc seems to have more space conflicts than marvel IMO... And the necessity for exaggerated feats of strength become paramount...

well of course. superman has never punched a planet on panel, and yet even though he should be able to, plenty of people say he can't. most people (thor, surfer, superman) in that bracket should be wasting planets if they wanted.
the problem is, though, that there are genuine reasons why superman would beat hercules, or sentry (up until dark avengers anyway), which isn't to do with the amount of appearances he has. it's simply the percentage of his feats that are just that impressive.
Tbh this is my current argument on sentry
he can beat superman depending on the circumstances....
I have always said that superman wins if sentry is disallowed the reincarantion ability that he can do within minutes... But that between matter manipulation and regenerating hencan never actually lose...

All this crap about posting years of feats is retarded. The fact remains that the Sentry has recieved an upgrade that is far beyond Superman. Its obvioius that the Sentry has had these powers for awhile as he's reformed himself before and even brought his wife back to life, but its just been now that he's been aware of them and has a grasp.
Regardless, posting feats is sensless. What Sentry just did is beyond what Superman can do. Everybody needs to get over it and just accept the fact that Superman loses. The Superman excuses are getting fairly petty at this point.
