I think this thread highlights a major problem with battles between Marvel and DC characters.

Even using PC feats only, Supes has a huge amount of showings/feats compared to Sentry.

The WWH arc itself. I see a lot of posters screaming PIS/CIS about the entire story. It seems the MU jobbed to Hulk, everyone fought Hulk like idiots, etc. To Marvel's credit, they went above and beyond to hammer the fact that WWH was amped beyond any other Hulk.

So, for the sake of argument, let's just assume that WWH was as uber as shown. Now, the Sentry/WWH left both of them drained of their energy reserves and ending with puny Banner punching out punier Bob.

Using that line of thought, Sentry must have been pretty uber. I mean WWH was wrecking experienced teams, the US military, and tied/beat Sentry.

Looking at it that way, I'd say it's at least a tie.

Then we can draw the parallel to DOS Supes vs DD. DD was wrecking teams, the military and took Supes to the end of his power reserves. The fight ended in a tie/Supes victory with Superman dying last. The problem with that scenario is the arc is 15+ years old with Superman getting more powerful over the years.

For me, I can either call this a tie or a 6/10 scenario for Supes winning due to more feats.

Anyway, that's how I see this match. Now, give me that Dur smiley! uhuh

And this whole "Sentry is featless" rhetoric has spanned all the way back to when he first returned in New Avengers #1 in 2005. It may be familiar, but it's tired and witless.

sentry pacifies the hulk, this is the basis of their "retcon" friendship.

we all saw what happens when hulk is truly drained and what sentry did was not it, all he did was make hulk revert by calming him with his power.

meik made all that go to shit soon after however.....

banner drained of hulk shouldn't be able to go super saiyan two minutes later amirite?

Sentry really looked like he was pacifying WWH. durhulk

Sentry letting WWH hit him. Well, WWH let Sentry hit him. Therefore the point is moot. Sentry lost a slugfest to WWH. Not a great feat. 😂
