I can't give Superman the win anymore. I want to, but DS Sentry was retarded powerful. The only good part is that at least Bendis wasn't wanking him.
Prior to DS I'd say it's be a decent fight. Now it's just a wash.
On another note, Sentry should shatter his arms every time he hits anything due to his glass skin. Comics.

The only times he has been extremely physically injured was to portray the fact he was an unstoppable force.
The first time was Wasp hitting him as shown above with that scan. In which he explained that damage to himself is pointless as he is driven by the soul.

Here again it is displayed that he is nigh unstoppable. Sentry quotes the Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Specifically talking about dead men rising. Which is obviously again implying he can withstand anything physically.

His flesh not mattering isn't really an issue. It's not a question of immortality, it's a question of inconsistent durability and pondering an in comic answer. It matters little in the grand scheme of things but still. Is he simply making himself more "solid" in instances in other words.

I don't think he's intentionally doing either. I think it's basically Remender doing as I said, portraying him as an unstoppable force, every time he has been "injured" he has made reference to either not suffering harm or dead men rising.
I don't think he would intentionally lower his durability since he isn't at that level of mental instability where he would want to die anymore.
His flesh not mattering is partly an issue. It's as he says it doesn't matter what you hit me with no matter how powerful. I will always come back. That's the context in which I believe it fits.
Again I don't believe it's inconsistent he isn't making himself more solid, it's to prove a point by RR.

He also ripped his entire face (including skull) off of his own head for shits and giggles. We're to believe that Superman is going to come in and physically KO Sentry?
