STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Slayer

"I have no problem with that," Galder says. "I am SO sick of Nar Shaddaa. I need a change of scenery, and if totally wiping out the Rodians doesn't earn me that, nothing will."

Galder has very little he wants to collect of his things. Maybe stop by his ship to throw things in it before going on to wherever the Rodians are and murdering the shit out of them.

Waiting in the speeder is a third Dark Jedi working for Kuylen, a woman who looks like Trinity from the Matrix.

"Well hello, handsome," Krisha says as you walk up.

"Hey, I'm standing right here," Quam snarks. Krisha punches him in the shoulder as he gets into the speeder. "Got the bombs ready?"

"You don't have to worry about ME being ready," Krisha says. "It's YOU idiots I have to worry about."

You sense great exasperation from Dim while Quam and Krisha needle each other the entire speeder ride to the warehouse that the Rodians operate out of.

"You don't like them much, do you?" Galder asks Dim while making sure his blaster is ready to go.

Dim simply sighs beneath her veil when you ask.

The Rodian's warehouse is a complex in an industrial area of Nar Shaddaa. It is approachable and looks abandoned but the quartet of Rodians loitering around the heavy loading door look suspicious. Especially with the blasters they carry.

"I hope you're prepared, newbie," Quam says, bringing the speeder to a stop a short distance away and hiding his repeater under his cloak. "This is going to be violent."

Galder snickers.

"I'll take the two on the right," Galder answers smugly, unsnapping the latch on his holster so he can quick-draw with ease. He gets out of the speeder and starts walking directly toward the Rodians.

The four of you approach the warehouse.

The Rodians bristle and come out to meet you.

"You can't be here," the lead Rodian says.

"Is that so?" Dim asks. She raises a hand and twists it, snapping the Rodian's arm. He squeals and drops his gun before Dim lifts him into the air.

The other Rodians take aim.

Galder quick-draws and blasts down the two he said he'd take without a problem, giving each a laser through the chest.

You drop the Rodians before they have a chance to fire back, while Quam brings his repeater to bear on the last one and sprays him to death with lasers.

Dim's victim chokes and struggles, then stops moving.

"Nice," Quam comments. "Now, let's get this door open..."

Krisha very quickly runs forward and slaps an explosive on the door. It blows a neat hole in the heavy door for you to step through.

Unless someone else volunteers to go first, Galder will.

Dim actually wants to go first. Quam will come in behind you, and Krisha last.

There is a surge of power from Dim as she steps through. She lays flat three Rodians that were waiting on the other side and ignites her lightstaff, deflecting incoming fire away from you with Bodyguard.

Nice! Galder is definitely taking advantage of that and firing from behind Dim's protective efforts.

The interior of the warehouse is massive, poorly lit with old hanging lamps, with catwalks criss-crossing nearer the ceiling, and filled with crates of all shapes and sizes. From the floor they will be hard to navigate.

"We're making for the main office, in the center of the warehouse," Dim explains. "We're staying low for now."

Rodians are pouring into your immediate area and taking up sniper positions on the catwalks.

Galder is going to look for cover behind some crates, blasting any Rodians that get close.

"Keep me covered," Galder says to Dim. "I'll shoot anything shooting at you. Deal?"

Dim follows you into cover and bats away any lasers coming your direction. Quam takes cover behind some crates as well, and Krisha near him.

Lots of Rodians incoming!

The main office is straight ahead. It will take five turns.

"Who to shoot, who to shoot..." Galder says, before picking out two Rodians in the immediate area and blasting holes in them.

Initiative is theirs as they surge into the area.

There are twenty-four Rodians opening fire on you, splitting their fire evenly. Galder and Dim only take slight hits thanks to a combination of cover and Dim's deflections.

A Rodian with a heavy repeater shoots at Quam but only rakes his cover. Then a sniper up on the catwalks shoots at Galder, blasting through his cover only to be intercepted by Dim's blade.

You down your targets while Quam lays into the Rodian gunner. He doesn't quite kill him, so Krisha flips out of cover and chops him in half. Dim sweeps her hand toward the Rodians and Bombards them with crates, clearing the area.

"Move!" Quam orders.

Galder will run forward to engage the Rodians, tapping Carnival of Carnage at the Rodians on the ground straight ahead as he moves there.

Initiative to your enemies, which means you are still in cover when they fire. Five shooters on Krisha and Dim, four on Quam and Galder. Dim is missed, Krisha takes a light hit, Quam is missed, and Galder is missed. The sniper picks on Quam, but the Dark Jedi taps Eye of the Storm for a miss.

Then Quam charges forward and taps 10,000 Bolts, spraying up onto the catwalk at the sniper. The catwalk itself provides a point of cover. Quam manages to work the sniper up to 18 damage before missing, then slides into cover again.

Because there is so much cover about, Krisha is able to take out a Rodian and jump into cover as well.

Your tap goes well, while Dim performs another epic Bombard and cleans some Rodians off of the catwalk, including the sniper.

Rodians on all sides! They close in behind you to seal the entrance and follow you along the catwalks. There are more standing in your way as well.

Galder quickly swaps to his lightsaber and charges forward to handle the Rodians ahead, spending a point on Twirl and swapping in Forward Guard, hopefully still protected by Dim.

"Move up!" Galder shouts to Dim and the others.

5-1, you go first.

Galder goes charging up and cuts down three Rodians with his Twirl. Krisha flips over and drops one, while Dim gracefully strides forward and bisects another at the waist. Quam tosses aside his blaster and twirls through the air, landing with a lightsaber outstretched through the last Rodian thug. He ignites his second and angles it toward the Rodians on the catwalks above.

The Rodians at the entrance cannot get a clear shot at you, so you come under fire from sixteen Rodians- four apiece. Quam stylishly parries and reflects several blasts back up into the catwalks. Dim does the same for those chasing on the ground. They eliminate six between them.

The Rodian Bruiser goes after Krisha, landing a punch for 3 damage. She takes it in stride.

The way onward is blocked by a large stack of crates- you can go right or left to move past Straight 3.
