As for Capcom, I’ve always been partial to the Resident Evil and Street Fighter franchises so it’s probably those characters, especially the villains. They’re just such evil sons of bitches I had a ball writing for them.
If that doesn't mean Wesker will be in this game, I don't know what does.

I heard that the silhouettes (if I spelled that right) seen in those online posters may not appear in the game at all. This could mean bad news for Frank West and I hope he doesn't get cancelled. The dude's too awesome to be booted out for he's covered wars goddangit! 😠
Seth was asked about C. Viper's silhouette directly, and he clearly can't just say "Yeah, Viper's in. Great job guys!", so he fed us an ambiguous quote about the silhouettes to make us question what we already know. Don't let yourselves fall for it again, he already did it once with Yatterman-2.
Just announced via Capcom TGS Twitter (Japanese) -- Tron & X-23 officially in the roster.
X-23 is pretty cool I guess.
Does anyone really give a shit about Tron though? They're talking about this Tron right?
EDIT- lol no. Megaman?

I think I would have preferred Lady Deathstrike but I'll see how X-23 turns out.
Meh... I dunno. The game looks boring to me. For a lot of the Marvel characters, there isn't a whole lot about them that screams "This is definitely X character". It's like, watching X-23 in that video, what move did she demonstrate that was like "Oh yeah, that's X-23, that's something X-23 would totally do", you know? It was just like a bunch of hitsparks and flashes and that's it. You could have replaced her character with another striker and the specials would have still fit.
I get the same feeling with Logan. He doesn't really do anything where you feel like "Yeah that's Wolverine, only a guy with claws and a screw loose would go off like that". It's just... unrelated hitsparks.
X-23 may be unexpected, but she isn't a gameplay clone of Wolverine. Shes a lot faster, more agile, acrobatic, and shes more on the assassin type. She even disappears as one of her moves. 23 sort of reminds me of Cammy with her diagonal attacks. She is more martial arts than savagery like Wolverine.

So much for the no clones rule. 😬 Epic fail.
She really doesn't play all that much like Wolverine to me...unless you mean she's literally a clone.
Here's more videos of the characters:

So far, my only dissapointment is Tron's theme. They should have use the Bonne theme from the first MML game.

How?
X-23 looks to play different and I already knew that if she was in, she wasn't gonna play like Wolvy. Prime example: Sabertooth. Those 2 are 100% different and Capcom knows better. I always digged Tron's silliness and her play stayle, so today was a decent day for MVC news. I'm more concerned with gameplay than anything and it seems to still be pretty solid for a title in progress. I'm still hyped and I cant wait to get my hands on this at Capcom's Fight Club: Chicago.
