Marvel vs Capcom 3

Sent didn't need 2 B nerfed. Capcom is doing it again. They ALWAYS do this! Ever since SF:2I! Again and again showing that they R terrible @ nerfing. There is a difference between listening 2 fans and giving N 2 the masses of crybabies who don't like 2 work 4 their wins.

This means win I do get online, I'll B downloading this "patch".

Buffs I would like

- Thor having faster recovery on his hypers, increase the range on his command grab, and make so that Mighty Thunder can push back the other player on block not just on one hit(like Magneto's Shockwave) the way it is right now they can just block the first lightning bolt and the rest of the attack goes right past them, that + its horrific recovery = Thor gone or close to it.

- Faster recovery for Shuma Gorath. Which means no posing after doing a hyper. That just leaves him wide open for attacks if the hyper gets blocked.

- Hyper Stars and Stripes suspends opponent longer if hits or bounces.

- Give Phoenix a bit more health.

- Have Ultimate Web Throw also work on grounded opponents. Except they can block it unlike if they're in the air.

- Being able to do Killer Illumination in the air.

And I might get slammed for this one, but I wish they would put in something so we can break out of combos. It's kinda unfair that if we get hit and your opponent begins a long combo, there's nothing we can do about it. The only way to escape is if they mess up. Some of these combos are pretty long and will have your character gone(or close to it) in just seconds. That's not good if the character you're using has a glass jaw.

They could have it similar to like breaking out of a TAC, except that it costs one hyper bar. It wouldn't have to damage your opponent. Just prevents you from taking more damage.

Nerfs I would like

- Toning down certain characters X-factors.(Ryu, Sentinel, Hulk)

- Toning down Chun Li's rapid kick. No regular move should be capable of doing over 40 hits when repeatly used.

- Toning Doom's Hidden Missiles. Have him shoot one less and if he gets hit while using them, they disappear.

- Toning down Akuma's Hurricane Kick. Even without the infinite, the pressure and stun it creates is too big. The damage output by spamming it is outrageous. It's nigh invincible to almost everything you throw at it.

- Sentinel's beam taking no chip damage. It's not a special attack, so don't treat it like one.

- Longer recovery on Chris' Magnum Shot. He shouldn't be able to spam them like that. His strength should be his prone shot.

- Longer recovery for things like Hurricane Kicks, Shinku Hadokens, Berzerker Barrages etc etc. I've seen fights with Hurricane Kicks endlessly being used.

I agree with some of the nerfs you put down. I don't think phoenix needs anymore health she's already crazy powerful and can get two health bars. Thor definitely needs buffs though. And I agree about being able to break combos, but if that's possible then I wouldn't tone down hurricane kick or anything of that sort. Some characters like Dante can have insane combos if executed correctly that you can do jack shit about. I dunno about toning down chun li's rapid kick though, it doesn't do enough damage or have enough range to be too insane, skrulls tenderizer is worse than her kick imo, plus it's like chun li's thing.

I know the kick is like one of Chun Li's trademark moves, but I don't recall any games she's been in where it was possible to hit your opponent with it over 40 consuctive times. This guy did that to me. I couldn't move at all.

You mess with Chun's lightning kicks and you will mess up her amazing rushdown. Its the thing that she does, so no. Same thing with messing up Shinku hadoken or the tatsumakis. If you do that then wtf is Ryu supposed to do? He isn't that good to begin with.

I'm not saying get rid of Shinku Hadokens, just don't have Ryu recover from it so quickly. I might have mentioned this already, but my problem with it is when Ryu has a lvl3XF it does too much chip damage. I had so many times where someone would be down to their shoto character or Iron Man or someone with a huge beam projectile with 5 hyper bars and just mash lvl3XF and hit 5 of them in a row.

Even with chip damage, 2 and a half are enough to take out Hulk, I've lost plenty where they took out 2 characters with just spamming Dante's gun thing 5x in a row under XF. And simply super jumping over the Hadoken will not always work considering they can aim it while it's activated.

I didn't say you said to get rid of Shinku. I said you wanted them to mess it up. Nerf lvl3XFactor because that IS the problem, not Ryu. Wouldn't be fair to nerf Shinku Hadoken because of XFactor and keep Sentinel's insane lvl3Xfactor cheapness, even with the health nerf he received.

The main thing I would like is for them to tone down the chip damage a lvl3 SH does.(If that's even possible) Tossing five of them in a row is a real cheap way to make a sudden comeback which requires no skill at all.

And I mentioned Sentinel among the X-factor nerfs I would like. Having over 200% damage at lvl3 is just way too damn much.

And just in case you know why I listed Hulk is because at lvl3 his Gamma Crush is capable of taking out a full health character.

X-Factor is such a bad idea, man. I don't like Capcom's intent on pushing these "comebacK" tools in their games to benefit bad players/noobs.

Other than the stuff I mentioned, I really don't have a problem with it. We both have access to it and it can only be used once per battle. My opponent uses theirs, I just do my best to stay away from them until it goes out. If I haven't used mine already, I wait until there's is about halfway gone and use mine to counter it.

I'm not liking the X-Factors myself. They remind me of that retarded RAGE factor used in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe minus the invincibility but replaced with regeneration and still keeping the increased damage output.

Yeah same old "since everyone has it it ain't bad"

It should be taken out. Its just a lazy way to implement comebacks. Gone are the days of Wong's Cyke comeback and the like.

Why are you complaining about Chun Li's annoying kicks when you can just keep your distance from her and spam a good 'ol repulsor blast and/or hadoken until she gets KO'd?

I never complained about her kicks. 😬

I wonder why.

It's at least better than Wesker wank right?

Still salty 131

Besides I'm not complaining about anything but lvl3Xfactor.

We've fought eachother on our first encounter and whenever I challenge you again, you deny it. Do you think I'm now not worth the time to fight? You sir are disrespectful.

I don't see how I am disrespecting you. If I haven't played with you in marvel is because of 3 things:

1. I am busy playing another game.
2. I am doing something else/watching a movie or just idling. I tend to leave the Xbox on all the time.
3. I don't like Marvel that much so I don't play it much. I almost regret buying the game.

To bring up another subject, does anyone else enjoy timing out a Phoenix user? It's so fun doing this to people who think they'll get an easy win with lvl3XF DP. I was once doing this to this guy and when time was about to run out he disconnected. I was shocked I didn't get any hatemail afterwards.
