The second thing, obviously. Legends 1&2 were, are, and always will be, the only good Megaman games ever.

That's just wrong. X 1-4 were awesome.

Cool story bro.

YES! I told you it wasn't lame. Now let's celebrate.

I laughed so hard...

BIONIC AAAAAARRRRRRRMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seriously though... that's some ole bullshit

X-factor can die in a fire.

Also, @Moo

I loved Capcom side this time, they brought the goodness. Almost every character on Capcom side is a character I want to play. It's Marvel side that's lacking in this game.

and @Frisky, I know you think that Nintendo's characters are for children and aren't "cool" but Nintendo has some very very legit characters and you may just not be mature enough to realise it yet.

The only bad part about the Marvel half I could name would be like, MODOK. Every other choice on the Marvel half is pretty damn good.

I disagree...

Dr. Doom
Shuma Gorath
Super Skrull
Taskmaster
Wolverine
X-23

and of course MODOK, all need to be replaced.

On what grounds? XD

I can understand say, X-23's reasoning, in that she's Wolverine with ****. But that's why I think she should stay. Get rid of the actual Wolverine. Boobs are better. That's how it is.

And Taskmaster? What the hell.

Dr. Doom, really?

If they had to, they would take X-23 out of the picture over Wolverine anyday, realistically speaking.

😆

I hope we aint talkin about gameplay, cuz if we are, this is literally the dumbest thing ever said about this game on this forum. This has only EVER been uttered by absolute chumps, across the entirety of the internet.

Pleez tell me we aint talkin about gamepaly.

Nah bro, we ain't talkin' da game play.

That is how I actually feel though, so you're right about that much.

I don't know what my feelings towards Nintendo characters has to do with my level of maturity, but okay.

My main problem with the idea of this crossover isn't that it's with Nintendo. My largest problem is that it is ANOTHER CROSSOVER. Capcom's own fighting IPs are just better and far more respected than the crossovers.

AWESOME!!! I know Marn was berried in salt after that. What made things worse was that Fiend swept him.

Well no wonder why I "suck." Eversince those classic arcade-styled controllers for MvC3 came out, dozens of players have been able to control their fighters better. Compared to the 360 controller, the arcade controller makes the people who don't have one look like a bunch of slow pokes. I'd go get one but they're like $100 so to heck with that idea. Maybe I'll just trade it in for another game.

DEW ITT!

I might as well wait for that Super MvsC 3 I've been hearing about, at this rate.

That's not why you suck, plenty of players are totally amazing at the game without the use of an arcade stick. The guy I lost to at the last MvC3 tournament was using an xbox360 controller and still managed to take 1st place.

Nemesis if you really want to get better I recommend paying www.shoryuken.com a visit and try learning the characters and practice their OTGs and all the other shit. Learning and understanding the fundamentals is key.

Oh really? I did a little experimenting to see if I have a fairer chance against those who play with the original controllers and those with the arcade ones. I've been having a good time fighting those with the 360 controller but when I looked for ones with an arcade controller, **** hit the fan. If you say "it's just a coincidence," my response is going be "bullcrap."

Some dude won with an original controller while you used the arcade version huh? Wish I had his luck.

Look... the causation is opposite from what you guess. A player who is particularly dedicated will eventually purchase an arcade stick. Therefore some of the best players will have sticks but that doesn't mean the stick fosters their SKILL. Seriously man... get good at fighting games, in general and if you start to love it and want to play all of them seriously you'll want a stick. I bought the thing for Blazblue but I use it for all fighting games nowadays.

I don't fail at every match if that's what you're implying in your unappreciated statements about how I play. I don't fail all the time and my only weaknesses in MvC3 are Sentinel users, people who never endingly spam the same attack over and over like somebody who gets trigger happy, and Hulk users. I'd be delighted to go get a stick but they're $100 which in my opinion is robbery.

Sticks are a bit better but you need to invest some serious time into getting good with it and reaping its benefits. However, some people are just better with pads. Preference is what it really comes down to but sticks are just a lot easier once you get use to them and they are a lot more precise, at least when playing fighters made by Capcom.

Still, there are pro pad players: Wolfkrone uses a pad sometimes, Inthul, Hold Dat, and Billy Kane, just to name a few. It's not all that hard. You don't HAVE to use a stick to be the best. Blaming you failures on your pad is just a lame excuse. Unless you're using a standard Xbox 360 controller. Then you are at a disavantage. If your playing on the 360, at least get a fight pad.

To be honest the 360 controller sucks, but learning the fundamentals>>>controller issues. I used to whine and complain about the 360 controller when I was learning SF4. I got a fightpad and eventhough I was having a relatively difficult time adjusting I could tell a lot of things were easier. Then I made the switch to the arcade stick when my 2 pads broke. I didn't want to spend money on a third one and I my knowledge of the game had increased to the point where I could tell certain combos/techniques would be easier on the stick. I made the switch and had quite a rough time adapting. Now my stick is broke because I bought the standard edition. Right now I am back to using an xbox 360 controller, and eventhough I miss the stick, my superior knowledge of the game makes up for it and I have no problem kicking people's asses. The stick as well as the controller is nothing but a tool. Your knowledge of the basics is what is important. The only thing affected by controllers/pads/sticks is execution, and even then most of the time execution flaws are caused by the players.

Very True. But the 360 is just the most inconvenient "tool" to use of all the tools available for play with this game, IMO. I think a keyboard would be better than the 360 controller.

I use a stick just for the fact that I'm used to it and it's just convenient. Being right handed and having all the key attack buttons on the right side is great. Then I like to play standing up, and so the fact that I have to use most ranges of motion with my hands to play means that I have more control, about the same amount of control on both sided of the screen.

But like you say, fundamentals triumph over everything. Look at the Brollylegs the Chun Li player. "The first problem is you."
