Super Geon(King of The Monsters) vs Leviathan (Resistance 2)

Anyone remember SNK's AWESOME but short lived King of the Monsters series?

This is Geon from the first game.

He's basically the Godzilla analog and the strongest monster of them all, eventually eating his defeated foes to become Super Geon.

For this match we will be using Super Geon from KoM2:

Height: 112 meters (367 feet)
Weight: 132,000 tons

He will be taking on the Leviathan from Resistance 2:

Height: 300 feet
Weight: Unknown (lets just say 100,000 tons)

It took a bridge full of explosives and a LAARK round in the wounded eye socket to kill the Leviathan. I think Super Geon can win this.

Super Geon is pretty much on the level of a Kaiju as well as the rest of the cast in King of the Monsters 2. If Leviathan was destroyed like that, it stands no chance.

Yeah, Leviathan gets owned by Super Geon.

Wow...that's it? Just a little bridge hanging over his head? I thought it at least would be some huge golden gate-esque bridge that he would be trying to cross.

I have KoM 2 for the SNES. It's still fun to play but I'll bet the original Neo Geo version would be better.

Super Geon will either cook Leviathan with his flames or grow his horn and skewer him to death with it, then cook him.

I forgot that Super Geon had some earthquake special too. And he can also vertically toss monsters weighing more than him into the air and let them land on his dorsal spikes.

I may have to play this game. 😐 Looks pretty kool. Anything that lets you play as giant monsters is win by default.

From what I remember, the first one at least is on the wii virtual console?
