I do, but I also think Spider-man hits harder than Bane. And Tombstone on a good day tanks most of Pete's punches. Again, I agree it's not very consistent.
Fair enough, but I do have to point out that Spider-man often holds back. And many fighters have given him trouble until he gets serious/angry. Like so, a one shot BFR which leads directly to Tomby's arrest:
And Tomby couldn't even break out of hand cuffs. Bane has done that off of Venom.
And then we have the level of disrespect that DD showed him in yesterday's comic. Where Tomby doesn't even make the list of DD's worst enemies. DD mentions the Hand before him. DD beats him down while wearing a collar shirt and slacks with mostly just a broken pool stick.
Tombstone screaming out to a man that who only knows as a blind attorney to "fight fair." lol Jobberstone indeed

The Iron Spider suit ...10/10, every time. The suit absorbed the combined energies of the LT and Galactus, creating a rift in the multiverse in the process. A rift that has been interpreted in writer discussions as affecting other realities, including being the original cause for Krypton exploding in DC.

Lenny fought Cage in his early Power-Man days, both were weaker back then, but until Cage got the upperhand, they were going blow for blow. Bane never would've been able to go for any length against Cage.
Tombstone's also much faster. Fast enough to flick a mid air Matt away like a bug, and keep pace with Spidey.
It's frankly PIS that Cage could even keep up with him.
Originally posted by SupermutantI would argue that the handcuffs instance is definitely bad writing. Peak humans are shown breaking those at times. Meanwhile, Tombstone has ripped Spidey's webbing which is many times stronger than handcuff. At one point Pete was unable to break his grip iirc.

But let's face it the moment Tombstone dropped that outfit and started to wear a suit he went down the shitter, they should explain it that the chemical that created him lost effect over time and refresh him or some shit. I used to love Tombstone as a kid...
