(What does Dioxin do?)

Xeth motions to Master Gundark to follow him. He puts away his weapons and then grabs the girl, pulling her out of the hangar and onto the walkway.

any signs of where the DJ's went?
if not, since the smugglers are surveying...
"Have you seen where the persons who caused this damage went to?"

I need a BIG update.

we're winning 😄

I'll update you in a PM. 🙂

Actually, Lance, it is pretty easy for you; most of the development has been in the plots of the OTHER plyers.

You have met the Miramar who had you at a disadvantage, tracking you and surrounding you in the jungle. But all they seemed interested in was what the purpose of the Astrolabe was. Once they heard it was a Sith relic, they seemed to make their minds up about something. Shortly afterwards there was a disturbance nearby and they all took off pursuing someone- you followed and got a brief glimpse of Takuan in the Jungle before you lost him in the unfamiliar and dangerous territory.

Now you have just emerged in a very quiet clearing, where Sieri (Julie) is examining three burial mounds, two of which have been dug up. These mounds are a thousand years old, and Sieri has just found a rusted lightsabre with one of the bodies- these are Sith graves.

Yerss, there were no survivors of the blast, but by any logical route (and it is POSSIBLE that these people follow NO logic, from what you remember of them) this is consistent with them heading to the starport.

For a moment, yerss, you feel a presence that... no... you thought something reminded you of something, but now you do not think so and you cannot think what it was anyway. In any case, the starport is the next 'stop', only ten minutes walk from here.

Dioxin is the gas used against QGJ and Obi-Wan at the start of TPM.

As soon as you leave the ship, Xeth, a VAST barrage of laser fire comes your way. Floating at the top of the hangar are three squat rounded droids with quadruple laser cannons attached. You have seen these before- theese are military-grade hunter-killer droids, designed to follow their target more or less forever, and terminate them with extreme efficiency. They cost a fortune to build- several hundred thousand credits each, and they are VERY dangerous. Someone SERIOUSLY wants you people dead!

They have you pinned down almost at once, Movement is almost utterly impossible, they fire fast and accurately, twelve guns in total, never varying, never missing.

There is, however, another watching this. The new player Kosta (Celsius).

Kosta, you were on Nar Shadda trying to pick up the trail of a criminal syndicate you had been hired to help destroy. You have NOT been in a good mood- it turned out your employers were not altruistic police types, but ANOTHER criminal syndicate just trying to manipulate you into eliminating the opposition. Before you knew it, BOTH sides were trying to kill you and you only just escaped the ambush alive.

Darn it! And you were SO SURE that coming to Nar Shadda was the right thing to do! It seemed so instinctively correct... have your feelings become so clouded since you took your leave of the Council?

When you heard the rumour that some new arrivals on Nar Shadda that were attracting staggeringly large bounties, you were interested- and when you heard that one of them was a JEDI, your instincts started buzzing. A Jedi? With a bounty on her head? On Nar Shadda, planet of the bounty hunters??? Now, whatever weirdness that is, it CANNOT be a coincidence that you were here at this time. Jedi Masters can be stuffy but they are good people so you thought you should at least ASK this Master 'Gundark' what the heck was going on.

You heard some Bounty Hunters had tracked them to a hotel on the upper levels. When you got there, you did not see quite what you were expecting. About a hundred battle droids were being hacked to pieces just outside the hotel by four sabre-wielders of great skill. One look at them convinced you that they were NOT Jedi, not by any means! Their darker emotions ran free, giving them terrifying destructive skill. One of them in particular, a tall man with braided hair, wielding a purple-bladed sabre with a finesse and ability uo have not seen the like of before, sent a cold chill through your body. They did not look in the mood to be talked to- but you also saw, sneaking away out back, tow others with lightsabres. One small thing of a species you have not seen before, and one woman who had the unmistakable look of a Jedi Master.

You followed the two of them to the star port on Nar Shadda, where they seemed to be showing interest in a particular ship. You just gained access to the hangar that the ship is at the other side at, when the barrage of fire from the hunter-killer robots at the top of the hangar started, volleying firepower at the two Jedi as they leave the ship.

So, this is the situation you find yourself in... and those robots are going to be bastards to deal with...

"stay alert... I felt something...probably nothing..."
*ignites lightsabre for the sake of it*
*continues run*

"Sith graves?," Lance asks in disbelief, "I never thought I would have seen one of these in all my days."

"Ah Sith spit..."

Xeth immediately ignites his lightsaber and blocks shots. He pushes the girl away and tells her to start running. If he can he deflects the shots back at the hunter-killer droids. He backs away, knowing he cannot possibly approach the 3 hunter-killer robots.

Xeth, you bounce a shot back... for it to fizzle on the shields the robots carry... uh-oh...

-

Someone was here before you two, Lance; these graves have been very RECENTLY dug up and one of the sabres taken. Not that they are any good to anyone now.

-

Yerssot, you emerge a little while later into the Starport, which is a VAST underground cavern, about a mile long, with a dozen sizable ships parked around in variopus areas, and walkways criss-corssing all over. Thousand of people go about their business here, shifting cargo around, whilst hundreds of guards in the same light armour you have seen the others wearing are running around as well, looking for the Dark Siders.

*holds one of those guards*
"Can you give me the latest update about these Dark Jedi?"

(Ush - can Xeth and I feasibly make it back into Kuylen's ship from our current position ? Kellan is thinking of using the ship's weapons to destroy the droids)

You would need to re-programme the encrypted compouter systems, which is hard to do under fire. More problematic, the ship is full of dioxic toxin fired by those robots.

So basically no.

-

That causes a bit of a kerfuffle, yerss, as the guiards do not know who you are, though by the time it is sorted, the answer is they have no idea, they have not been seen since the checkpoint was blown out.

forcesense please

A lot of worried people around... no mind you can feel that will be helpful (though you know what the Dark Side is like!)... still SOMETHING that strikes you as vaguely familiar...

...more alarmingly, danger ahead. There was always going to be danger when you reached this point... you are expected, you think.

I'm expected?
That's why I'm here ...

*checks lightsabre*
can I go into the direction of the danger?

(Good idea Gundy. 🙂 Too bad it wouldn't work. 🙁 )

"Let's go Master Gundark! We have no choice but to get out of here until we have better artillery!" Xeth hollers. He tries a shot with his sonic blaster.

That sonic blaster doesn't have a hope against those shields unless at point-blank range and even then you are not confident. You could push a sabre through the shileds, but in mid-air? Tricky!

But they will follow you, Xeth, out of the starport and wherever you go, firing all the way. They are fast, they do not tire and they never give up. These things are BASTARDS!

-

The danger sense is in the near future, yerss; tricky to lock down a direction.

A quick way to find the Dark Siders might be to work out why they have come to the starport...

(How big are the HK droids? And do they walk or float?)

About three foot high and a foot wide; they fly.
