also this whole crap arguement that he does not want to fight batman means he no trying is BS. This can be back by fighters in real life. Rich Franklin for example had no interest in fighting matt hammill, but that did not stop him from whoopin his ass. Not interested in fighting some one and no fighting them to your best or taking them serous are two completely different things.

I'm not downplaying anything. I wasn't the one who screamed bloody murder over "out of context" scans when they were posted. In pretty much every fight/scuffle the two have had, Slade has never been 100% focused on fighting Batman. Plain and simple. He's either doing something else when Batman either attacks him from behind or something similar. In a comic fight, sure, Batman can hold his own and even beat Slade. But in a forum match up, one on one, Batman is going to lose a majority of the time.

I even said slade wins. I stated it. I had problems with out of context scans becuase it bullshit and pretty much lying. I find it funny you are argueing for slade against me when i completely agree slade wins? so what are you argueing? nothing? Otherwise he was mainly trying to run across the rooftops of Gotham and resorted to defensive fighting techniques. Most people haven't even read the comic outside of the panels posted to be able to argue one way or another any damn way.

Also did not stop batman from beating on slade as well. It not nearly so one sided, slade was in shit shape after the fight.

good lord.... "oh but Deathstroke didn't want to fight" what a load of Garbage, DS was putting up a fight specifically for his own sense of freedom. Like Batman wanted a fight? He was looking for a partner in DS. In anycase, Batman put up one hell of a brawl with DS and beat him to the point that Wilson got put away by a handcuffed human being not one issue later.. It was hardly the clean sweep DS supporters pretend it was...
Now, what I find "funny" is the fact that everyone here who uses those examples of Batman/DS fights to prove DS's superiority also have a tendency to conveniently ignore how Batman in those fights tends not to fight like Batman. No evasive agility, no cheating, no gadgets, explosives, the pitter-patter of baterangs... And in SPITE of knowing who Slade is and what he can do, Batman for some odd reason turns into a standup brawler set on going toe to toe with a legit metahuman. 🤨

Fact is Batman written at his peak should be an intense, intense, INTENSE matchup for Slade under any conditions. But fighting like the Batman instead of like a brawler, there's definitely WAY more room for Bats to open up some wins here.
