Indiana Jones versus the Lycans....

In the beginning of "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans", Sonja was on horseback patrolling and was attacked by a group of Lycans. She fled through a small trench while around half a dozen Lycans pursued her. I'm sure you guys remember this scene.

Indiana Jones is in her place, on her horse, armed with his Browning high power 9mm that is loaded with silver bullets, and his whip. He must outrun the Lycans and make it to the castle, as she did. Once he is inside the castle, he is safe. He has no support from the Vampires or Lucian.

Can he make it to the castle?

Yeah.

Indy dies swiftly.

Nah, he was a great shot and a kickass horseman, he clears.

Well, if you're talking about the Browning 9mm pistol, then there's two versions.

The original civilian version had a 10 round clip, with 1 in the chamber.

The military version, which was later legalized for civilian usage, had a 15 round clip, with 1 in the chamber. The 15 round is unfair to the lycans, while the original is better.

On top of that, as fast and agile as the lycans were, on top of it being night time, he'll be lucky if he hits half of them.

All it takes is one bullet, and Indy was a damn good shot.

Also, the horse Sonja was riding was fast as hell, Indy doesn't have to hit them all, just outride them.

Not necessarily, the higher Lycans were tanking a few bullets before going down, and the original lycans were even tougher than that.

You still didn't answer my query about which version it was, 10 round clip/15 round clip.

And like I said, no matter how good a shot he is, he's up against 12 feral lycans, masters of the forest, nearly pitch black coloring, and faster than his horse. And you act like they're all going to be in one big group for him to shoot.

The lycans chasing Sonja weren't all that, one went down from shallow wounds caused by those shuriken thingies.

I dont think there were twelve of them. He also has his whip as usual.

Okay, just reread the OP, 6 lycans and Indy's got 16 bullets?? That's a little stacked, it's at least 2 bullets per lycan, and 4 extras.

But, like I've said, even with only 6, they have a pack mentality, they won't all be in one spot, and Indy'll have a hard time riding, and looking back, up, around, and getting a clean shot off in the dark.

If he even uses his whip, that's a death sentence, he's nowhere near Human Raze in strength, he'll get yoked.

You can't outride something that's faster than you. If I'm in a Volkswagen Beetle and you're in a Lamborghini Galardo, now way in hell I can beat you straight up. The lycans were faster than the horse, and on top of that, Indy's not a better horseman, she was at least hundreds of years old by the time of the film, and had been riding since her youth.

The horse was fast enough to make it, man, and she only had to kill like three of them. Indy is a kickass rider, he showed this on ROTL and TLC. He is a good shot too, with 16 silver bullets and reloads, he makes it with ease. It's not that hard to get on a horse and ride full out.

The true test would be in the clearing before the castle, with all the boulders lying around.

So if you think that, obviously it's a spite thread.

No, it's spite because he's got at least 31 bullets for only 6 lycans. And that's only with 1 extra clip.

And Sonja had unlimited swings with her sword. Point?

But OK, give him one clip.
