Jack gets two single shot pistols and swash buckling sword
King Leonidas gets his shield, sword and spear and armor shin arm pads and helmet.

would he shoot him right off the bat will the armor not block the shot?

Shield would, Leonidas would go all Captain America on his ass, he'd die terribly. Remember, in 300, they used bombs to try to take out the Spartans.

Shield would block his shots, and in melee combat Jack would be boned.

Jack would need t3h improvisation skeelz to handle Leonidas.

Improv skills are the only thing going for Jack if he wastes his bullets.

Or he could just dumbfound Leonidas with his words biscuits.

Jack has the power of not getting injured by anyone he fights, only comical self injury. He's gone toe to toe with some of the best swordsmen of his world, and always come out without a scratch.

Leonidas, as skilled as he is, only fought cannon fodder.

As for the shield/armor stopping the bullet. A lead ball projected at high speeds will most likely puncture bronze. Look at Deadliest Warrior, a blunderbuss went through double plated Iron armor.

A single shot put a big dent in a single layer, bronze is a lot softer than iron.

Wait, the only armor the spartans had were shin and arm guards. If he doesn't get that shield up, he gets a hole in his chest, if he does, he still gets a hole in his chest. If not, the 2nd round goes through his skull.

No, dude, just no. Here's what you did wrong.

-Spartan shield isn't just bronze. It's bronze, a layer of leather and then layers or wood. It would likely stop a bullet fired from that gun.

-A blunderbuss is far stronger than a flintlock. Why the flintlock failed to go through the plate-mail.

Does Sparrow have a Blunderbuss? If not, I think Leonidas kills him. It's not even guaranteed that a single shot from a Flintlock would kill a Spartan of Leonidas' par.

Nope, just a single shot pistol. Which would more than do the job if it hit. While the Spartans were clearly superhuman, their durability was regular. A bullet gravely wound him if it wasn't a kill shot, and a kill shot is...a kill shot.

Unless Jack gets a critical shot with his two bullets he will be deader than dog shit.

Even a serious bullet wound wouldn't give jack enough of an advantage.
