I stop using way back 9 years ago. It had a good run.

R.I.P. Floppy.

Oh man! All of those floppys I have in storage will now be worth something. 😱

Floppy was so much fun. I grew up with them in the mid/late 80s. I remember my old elementary teacher saying to us: "Store and use your floppy with care; this is high tech material"

Oh man! I feel old now... 😂

That's ok, I remember the big floppy disks. My first PC was a 286, 12 MHz, with a 20 megabit hard drive. It used the big floppys. You could store your entire program on one of those. 😂

While my Amiga 500 and 1200 still have life them then floppys wont be dead to me.

What can they hold, 1.5 mb? That's barely a 10 second porn-clip in small viewing format; even you can't spank and cum that fast.

I, however, can.

Nice alliteration in the thread title, by the way.

I remember using cassettes with my Sinclair Spectrum, now that was fun.

Why, are you giving me an F? 😛

I thought something had happened to John Stockton.

About damn time.

Oh, floopy you were never floppy in my lifetime
But to see you fade from the world is a crime
This eulogy isn't a poem but at least it rhyme

😑

Encore! ENCORE! 😄

Hunh, this is kinda a bit of bittersweet news. I used to use floppies all the time, but now that they're officially dead, no more shall I think of them.
