Ryu vs megaman

Oh wow.... This is by far the worst case of denial I have EVER seen! I mean Ryu is obviously tah bestest ever you know!

Blech!.... Seriously, Ryu may be very powerful for a human, maybe even beyond human in some respects. But he is no Megaman.

In terms of feats, megaman has strength, durability, versatility and experience in most respects over Ryu.

And don't think I'm just another naysayer here, I've defended Ryu in matches where some think he loses badly, but this is a curbstomp in megaman's favour without any sort of doubt in my mind. It's like sticking Mr Myagi up against Astro Boy, it simply is not a contest, it's merely an exersize in extermination.

Ryu wins.

Megaman has too much variety that Ryu could never keep up with.

Ryu more powerful? No, he cannot blast apart mavericks like cottonballs, his hadouken has trouble against human opponents (Yes, strange for me to say it, but it's true, everyone Ryu has faced with the exeption of Seth has been human... more or less)

Ryu stronger? Err... No, lifting a FORTRESS into the air tells me Megaman X has more lifting strength than Ryu does. Ryu's biggest strength feat was lifting a huge assed rock, which is impressive indeed, but is utterly pitful when compared to Megaman's lifting strength. Striking power is more vague, but detonating combat machines with single hits is megaman's bread and butter, and Ryu cannot do this.

Ryu is no Akuma... He cannot win this fight.

Yeah. He has to be grounded and at full health for the Hadouken or Shoryuken to be available for use. Though like you said, it's a OHKO move.

~ Seriously though, I don't get how these guys think Ryu stands a chance against someone who is as strong, mobile and versatile as X. Heck, X has Zero's saber, and that's all X needs.
