i still don't see it as a power. some people can naturally have similar abilities and they don't even have superpowers.

Though I am pretty sure this remark was about DD, but I answer it for cyclopes just in cases.

There are not really people with similar abilities. Cyclopes has been stated was have spacial senses, or 6th senses as part of his powers. This may not always be stated when he pulls of crazy feats, but it also never be stated not to be anymore. There are not really people with similar ability, there are people with great aim, this however is from throwing objects and not shooting them out ones eyes through there power. There a huge differences, between ones power coming out the eyes and being skilled with guns, arrows or throwing weapons. It completely different thing. Having great aim with a power that due to eye sight.

If you used gambit you would have a far better argument. He has not been implied or stated to have any special awareness which allows for rediculous shots, and he also utilizes his attack throwing. Now he has great aim, but that does not equate to him having great aim if he all of a sudden could shoot beams out his eyes, nor does it equate to him having good aim with a gun there different things. Now you could argue that he be fairly good with a knife throwing or some such weapon. It also must be noted that lot of his aim comes from inhuman agility. If he had that taken away he loses his uncanny accuracy, though he still be extremely skilled with throwing cards, and he likely be able to pick up throwing knifes as well, but even then the weights much different then a card. Though at least in the method of throwing is similar.

i was talking about cyclops, actually.

and i still disagree, as i think that putting it all down to "its because its his eyes" does the man a great dis-service.

In terms of fighting common thugs, I think Superman would actually be "street-worthy" with his skills.

At the very least, he's almost peak human even when depowered, has been trained by Batman, and has knowledge of pressure points.

👆

* hmm… he (Cyclops) aims and fires with barely a conscious thought… trusting to a unique, inborn talent for spacial geometry -- honed by months of practice in the Danger Room -- that makes him aware of the position of every car in the room…

* so it's not a power nor a mutant ability… it's his inborn talent, honed by months of practice… 😉

Aquaman should be a streetworthy hero.
Not Batman level of course but he also shouldn't have problems with common thugs etc.

He is a trained warrior king, used to commanding armies, he is cunning and if he gets the same level of tech like Batman he should do OK.
Or even better some Atlantian tech.
