Green Lanterns, even with shields, wouldn't stand it.

Every Green Lantern and their mother survives falling into black holes on a daily basis. 😬

True.

i'm not saying supes cant take a quick dip in the suns corona or upper surface or even him blitzing through it. all i am saying is he cant take a prolong swim or take a fetal position and lay inside the sun without reaching his limit to solar radiation and starts having pain and even cellular damage.. this has bn evident more then once long b4 the new modern sun dips which he was already doing in the 90's b4 the famous imperiex moment

It will pain him, maybe even destroy his body. But it won't kill him. Assuming All Star Superman is at all applicable to mainstream (and I like to think that it is) he'll turn into an Immortal Solar being.

no one is usin all star superman you were already told that so stop trying to palm it off a non canon storyline when superman: man of steel #30 was and is clearly canon main stream superman. 😬

the future BS of gold superman is simply an alternate or possible future it doesn't even come close to equaling modern feasible feats..

dont get defensive b/c you dont like what current superman or past superman has bn written as.

again superman will suffer cellular damage.. he cant stay in the sun for a prolong period especially in the center nor can any lantern the OP specifically states no shields and even then a GL ring will run out of energy sooner or later not adding the amount of force it will be subjected to

Since GL rings have to be recharged, you're just being dishonest at this point. Without body shields and life support they couldn't even survive in space.

Even noob Lanterns survive black holes. Black holes are way worse than star cores.

by defending superman.

can human torch or balder and apollo do it based on there power

Johnny can't. Balder can't. Marvel's Apollo probably can. Authority's Apollo has.

You mean the ones that die or are transported via wormhole plot device? Not really. Green Lanterns would not take being stuck inside the core of a star.

maaaaaybe the heat can be argued due to him being able to go nova, but the stellar pressure would crush him close to a large molecule in size

Silver surfer - I can't recall what comic, but I'm pretty sure he's sat inside a star and soliloqued inside a star once before (and frankly, fist-fighting inside a black hole tops it by a wide-margin)

Nobody else on the list. Superman would overload from it. Green Lanterns, even with shields, wouldn't stand it.

I agree with this and it is exactly what a couple of people on here has said and in regards to your Surfer comment, I just thought about it; the guy absorbed an entire sun.

GL prolly can

So many people have been to the sun. It's really no big deal anymore...

what exactly is silver Surfers SKin made out of
I believe it's been referred to as 'galactic glaze'. It's molecular bonding strength is supposed to rival the nuclear strong force which binds protons and neutrons together. However, given that the strong force is little more than 100x the electromagnetic force which binds molecules together, that's woefully insufficient given what the Surfer has endured over the years. Humans have been breaking the strong force for decades with nuclear fission and atom smashers.

Comic physics triumphs once again. 😎
