BUT!!! Captain America has some crazy ass feats. He actually did almost combo to ko the freaking ULTIMATE HULK! see how i capitalized it.. it makes it seem more dramatic. Anyway.. he smakick and kicked the hulk a few times and leg swiped him and knocked him out for about a 3 count.
Cap brings logan down. Ultimate cap was and is a beast of patriotic badassery. Ultimate Wolverine is deadly but didnt heal or have the skills near his 616 counterpart while ultimate cap did nothing but kick people around and show off his skills in the process while finding the time to carry conversations, give orders and shoot epic quotes.
I would give this one to Wolverine. He can take any damage Cap can dish out hand to hand, and if Wolverine lands just one good hit Cap would either be incapacitated or dead. They're basically dead even in skill, and based upon their two confrontations it seems Cap is afraid to engage Wolverine in h2h.
captain america is just a human whose at peak levels who strength is 800 lbs barely a ton. while wolverine has intensive abilities,unbreakable bones, martial arts, animal senses and reginration. captain america would eventually tire out.
Besides in a world of lazors,cosmic rays and such a regular pathetic human bullet put captain america down 6 feet under good work soilder.

Yeah if Cap is going to cheat with long range weapons, and messing with the Weapon X programming in Wolverines head that's one thing, but in h2h I think Wolverine would take it. Like I said earlier they are on equal h2h skill terms, Wolverine just needs to land on good hit with those claws.
